i realy am gutted for u fella a fello corrola turbo owner, much better car for handling thn the starlet. u got my number if u need advice. GUTTED once again and keep up the good work, remember use 600 wet and dry on all shell caps, place the paper on a totaly flat serface and thn rub the caps with the bolt hole flats contacting the paper, + tap in the main bearing caps into the registers with a plastic hammer as the caps are a snap fit. check end float and shell crush also. -
lol resister affect current for 1 and it does not matter wat side thy go on as long as thr in the required partof the circuit. but thy right place on the feed side as this side is the common to all the fuel system.

yep and your head is the first stage 2 i have done ste. = cutting back inlet valve guids to match ports, just remember to prime everything with oil mate and disconect your injectors in order not to flood with fuel. + i would recomend cleaning out the throttle body was very dirty!!!. enjoy fella and u got my number if u need my help. -
feeling your pain mate. chin up we will get to the bottom of this. thy are awsome little cars wen running right.

let us know ollie wat u find, check for booste leaks with a squirty bottle full of washing up liquid. jack the front wheels off the ground and rev engine in thrid. this will put the engine under load and will not allow the engine to free rev which will allow booste presure to build better. and show up leaks better, take the wheels off for safety.

the problem is if u wind in the actuator u will cause the turbo to increase its rpm this will cause turbo failiar. plus it might cause blade failiar, which might reach the engine. also u will find the intake charge increase in temp the fast the turbo spins as the turbo becames ineffiecent. yes check your waste gate for crack and your impeller for lost fins. also check the gate is nice and free and actuator does not leak.
-
have u checked the waste gate port for cracks, and of course boost leaks. and how long u had this problem, the timing will cause your problem if out.
-
will be coming down to brands hatch in just over a mounth if u can hang on i will com and sort it got a few turbos here. is thr blue smoke. and are u still loosing oil. i found a problem with the flexi turbo oil feeds.
-
you still got the hybrid turbo on it mate, and wer u live.

realy sorry ste for the late reply, have left my phone in a customers car, was frantikly looking for it sunday, i do have another phone as back up and have bin trying to pm u the number but i can only seem to send 1 message a day. real sorry about the messing about ste. its ready and am looking at getting it to u sat day now. will be bringing my little lad with me and was just wondering if thr was any kids atractions near u i can make a day of it. -
yep som of the manis are very thin so to weld direct to the runers would be a bad idea just making more weak lines. so this does make more sence.
-
this would be good with the turbo mani and throttle body but waould be to much for the roller mani would loose som top end hp i would say. just keep the standard box with k&n pannle filter, and run a cold air feed to the bottom of the box, useing a heat exchanger on the fueline in (fuel cooler) and remove the throttlebody coolant pipes can reduce inlet charge temps better, also rap the exhaust mani and down pipe this will help reduce engine bay temps.
-
yep fella, we tried a 93corrola ecu in a 93 starlet pluged in but no spark of injector plus. But as for as starlet to starlet should work.
-
u cant just put low impedance injectors in a high impenance ecu circuit, u will burn out the injectors, but if its a proper fully programable ecu thn u can change settings in the ecu to take low impedance onces.
-
like it hehehehe, and remember wen buying bulbs do not get thm from the garage as thy think thr made from gold or som rer metal. !!!!!!!
