  1. me to npeolpe and the corrola will be thr this time. xxxx
  2. am here fella, fire thm questions my way and i will try to answer. i will empty the inbox now boys SORRY.
  3. i need som help so teaching these boys wat i can, and i must say paul u the man, and mark anti clock undo and clockwise is tighten??. lol. yep ryan will send u my modile number fella and i will get u in. sorry for the wait guys just ber with me.
  4. wat system you gone for the electric or flywheel type. pefer the flywheel less trick elctical, and saves on wight. yep if you do a fuel mix with meth or ethonal helps octane. can also use LPG for this. but will not reduce temps like NOZ does. and sorry ste will empty it.
  5. lol, your not the only1 ste. Think i need a service thw as my ass has bin backfiring like mad recent !!. Yep fella thr is not alot i cant tell you about cars, getting my head into k e r s now thats som complex shit. Xx
  6. yep my corrola is a chris i special front exit and is quite and sounds smooth. But you know how stupid mot testers are, u know you in for a fight.
  7. i have bin thw the ministry of transport, the highway code, and the mot handbook, and can find no law prohibiting the use of nitrous injection. thw tr is a degree of confusion over the need to have a hazard warning sticker on the out side of the car. chris thw that was over 12 month ago.
  8. thatmost authors of books about nitrous oxide injection normally fill up the first chapters telling u how how nitrous oxide was first used in air craft flying at high altitudes, but since we not doing that thn lets talk cars. No matter wat tunnig modds you use to enhance engine power, it's essential, for optimum results, to make sure that your components are adequate for the job, and aviod getting to greedy with the power increase. if sensible power increases are added to an engine in good condition, there is no great risk of engine failure. nos also applies. The truth is that nitrous injecti
  9. think the head and block will need a skim now fella. should we just do a engine instead.
  10. cheers mark, and we will get to the bottom of y the car keeps blowing thm.
  11. the throttle positon sensor if to go wrong would normaly not let u start the car but a few checks are needed to find your problem. if a sudden lose of all aceleration i would put it down to ignition yes if the amp goes wrong then you would find it hard to start but dissy , dissy cap, rotor arm, plugs and leads as well as the main enginge earth. could case thee problem im reading about. it will be simple do not loose faith and do not waste money on guessing.
  12. yep fella think thr all thinking the same as me, its a electrical problem on the ignition it sound like. look foe a broken earth wire (main). is the engine check light coming on (normaly happens with the throttle position sensor). or coil or ignition amp, take it to a good garage and thy will find the problem, also wer you live as i would be able to find your problem, im in manchester.
  13. ported turbo, decat, also fitted. Get a ecu next craig, you on the right track. have fun ??
  14. yep you are right fella, the skyes the limmit, factory are aiming for a certain power range so this can be changed, improved on and this all depends on wat you want to use it for fast road, rally, race or strip. do not just look at peak torque and hp but the power band or range. this is wer things like i-vetec coms in with a 3 stage cam timing. this is why i lov thm N/A tunning is proper tunning. and all things com into it like balanced and lightend engine parts for a higher stable rpm. yesterdays race engines are todays road engines.
  15. no a longer intake runner will cause the air to flow faster at low rpms. you can test this with a mono meter, and if you get to much vac at low rpms thn put a plenum chamber volume to suite wat u are aiming for, and test points in the inlet track. turbos (forced induction) and N/A are totaly different from the tunners point of veiw, I would say that if you want big power for cheap thn bolt a turbo on. but N/A are much harder to get power gains from so if you can push power up by quite a bit thn you get more credit as a engine tunner. if it was me i would go 5e and thn tune that engine, or 4age
  16. so here it is merry christmas, hope santa brings lots of bolt on goodies for all the members of UKSC. have a goodun peeps. xx
  17. yep fella the crack in the turbo casting was about 1mm so a wield is needed. have you hit fuel cut yet.
  18. yep money can be a problem and this is wer you ask your self wat engine produces the best power range for your needs.
  19. yep the engine would be better for the strip. by opening out the combustion chamber and putting high spek pistons in. which would make for horride cruise economy and runnig. the problem coms with the low angled opposed cams making for a wedge shape combustion chamber the exuast valves only flow at around 60%. The 4a head has the pent shape with 60 degree cams a better head. bigger valves could go in as the coolant jackets in the 4e head are very good. cams are hard to get but will improve torque and power range. a thinner head gasket is always the way forward as this is the weakest link in an
  20. yep joel you right thy have lots of torque and in all honisty som of the things im reading about hondas is a loud of tosh. thinner head gasket .7 trd but you will have to check running clearences of engine internals. put the 4efte inlet mani and throttle body on the corrola 4e injectors, a fuel presure reg, a good race complet exhaust. a stage 2 head porting and polish + work around the exhaust valves in the combustion chamber, ive headr the 5e cams have more lift, not to sure how much but im getting a set soon. lightenend fly wheel + front pully, can go bigger valves but will effect low dow
  21. i will get up to you fella and we will see. u still got your old leads
  22. am realy sorry for you fella saw this car at JAE, and could nt help but vote for it. RIP little 1. xx
