  1. I will post my picks for ya you will have to excuse the finger nails to my nail varnish came off!! You could always use a bead of silicone, let it dry for a day or 2 then screw it in, that would work more like a O ring, better than it oooooooosing out all over the place too!
  2. You will have to compare the springs once you have them apart, theres 10000000 of cheep waste gates out there it would be hard to tell with out seeing the springs together, but it should work as long as there similar in size. It can be shorter tho as that will lower the boost as long as is not too short or you wont get any boost lol
  3. yes there the same mate!
  4. I think I need to pull my finger out and get on with these!! I will get Japfest out of the way and get on with them, I could do with a Glanza for a day or 2 to get every thing sorted out so there spot on as mines a bit different to the glanza. But it will get sorted!
  5. Come on now Phil!! get ya cock ring uppps ya O ring sorted out and get this thing back on the road!!!!
  6. You just need the smaller spring on its own mate, 2 springs would give you more boost! And theres quite a few to choose from depending on what base boost pressure you want to run.
  7. Cheers lads! John you know I will make you one no problem!! we will just have to sort a time out to do it!! Morgey it does make it all nice and smooth it also gave me some where to put my amp for the speakers too!! I also may have to put my sub back it as the fronts on there own just dont cut it for me!!! I like to ROCK hard!!!
  8. Cheers Matt! got some more bits to sort out before Japfest but nothing major!
  9. Its a straight swap but the gear ratios are all wrong for the n/a engine it will be more economical but it will kill the acceleration,
  10. Nice project that Matt! be nice to see it when its done!! how you going to drive 2 to the shows tho lol!!
  11. Got the boot floor finished over the last 2 days looks much better now! Made some washers to screw onto the panels. Made brackets with rivnuts in for the panels to screw down to. I also moved my battery box to the side it also makes it so there is enough swing in the cables to move it to get the spare wheel out now too! The finished job!! I only got the fabric one of the panels upside down lol!! thats about it for now!
  12. I will see what I can do when I go back to work at the weekend, I have the same filter housing for mine and that needs some too, I have a feeling the ones we have at work will do the job nice just never checked! drop me a pm on Sat evening or I will forget lol
  13. I think but I could be wrong that there too old to be rota. There simular to my old ultralites I had but there's more curve on the spokes of these.
  14. Just got these for the green shed and was wondering if anyone can tell me what they are?

  16. Cheers mate, it's just going to be a run about it will get some tweeks tho lol
  17. Well I have been after a cheep runabout for some time and came across this on ebay for a steel. It needs a fair bit of work on it hence it was for sale as spares or repair. Had a ride to Dewsbury today to go pick it up, having a look round it I could see it needs a fair bit of welding doing all at the rear end, wheel arches both sides need doing, rear end of the n/s sill needs doing, a hole lump of the rear chassis leg is missing where it meats the panel at the back of the bumper lol, we had to swap wheels around on it as it had speed lines on it but they where sold separate to the car (for more than the car!!!) I took 2 of my speed lines to put on it to get it home on, while swapping the wheels round I noticed one of the front brakes was seized on, both rear wheel bearings needed adjusting and the n/s/r shocker was leaking oil. So the drive home, put some juice in it and off we went, It drives a dream nice and tight through the gears and runs sweet, only other thing I noticed was the exhaust it blowing a bit, It has no tax or test on it so im going to take my time and get it all sorted ready for the winter or before knowing me lol. Anyway hear it is!! Picks from the ad on Ebay Got it home! First job was to give it a good wash as it was minging to say the least there was all sorts stuck on it, gave it a good snow foaming and then washed it with concrete cleaner!!, then a coat of autobrite cherry glaze. It looks so much better now! Then sorted the brakes out stripped them all down and gave them a fresh greasing and and changed the slider boots on the front for some off a GT caliper, and changed one of the slide pins for one from the GT too. Then had a look into the knocking on the front end, found the n/s arb drop links to be fooked so same again robbed some off my GT shell I have sitting at my dads. The old ones wernt even toyota ones lol. I also swapped the rear shocks for the old ones off my SR as there was nothing wrong with them, the N/SR one on this was completely empty all the oil was all over the rear beam! Just this lot to sort now and the exhaust and give it a good check over on the ramp. The engine bay looks like its not been touched since it was new its had a new rad not so long ago tho, im going to give it a clean, put a timing belt kit on it and give it a service and thats about it! Thats about it for today not been a bad first day of owning it, I dont intend to spend any money on it im just going to see how much I can do with the few bit I have kicking around!! (any one thats been to mine will know I have a few bits).
  18. only a GAY moderator would not have one already!!!!
