  1. Got the idle control valve fitted today it just needs wiring into the ecu now. Also fitted the 98spec glanza steering wheel it looks so much better than the old one!
  2. I have Stack oil pressure and oil temp gauges, Blitz DC boost gauge and PLX wide band and EGT gauge all in one. Boost and ARF/EGT in pillar pod and the oil temp/pressure where the radio should be.
  3. Mechanic from birth, I lived 20ft from my dads garage from been 3 years old to bee n 25 then I moved 500 yards away. I did 2 yr at collage doing mechanics, welding and engineering from leaving school gave that up to take a full time job at a bus garage repairing service buses where the put me through my bus driving test, stayed there 4 years, Then moved on to a car transporter who moved cars for Toyota, Aston martin, Ferrari, Bentley and many more some may remember there ship sinking and taking every thing with it 2.800 brand new cars! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-151464/Ship-carrying-thousands-cars-sinks-Channel.html I stayed there 2 years and hated it they where all miserable! Then moved onto Volvo truck and bus doing any thing from full engine rebuilds to servicing the job I hate most! I also service and repair the Hybrid buses that run in Leeds most of my work is buses because I worked at a bus garage I am a bus man they think I dont mined I get to hammer em round all the time lol drifting buses is a lot of fun! been at Volvo about 8 years now and still enjoy it most days well nights I work 4 on 4 off on nights.
  4. mine had less than 15,000 miles on it but it was only 3 years old and one previous owner lol
  5. Looking good mate it will all come together in the end! oil leaks on the sumps on these are a real pain in the ass!! The one I am running now has been good up to now but I have had some dogs over the years. It does help to leave them to set before filling them with oil, the way I do it is to put the silicone on then put the sump up loose but making contact all the way round then tighten it up the next day doing it this way it forms like a proper seal and tightens up real good once the bolts are torqued up properly doing it this way I have never had one leak! Nice to see some one keeping there car nearly as long as me it takes some bloody doing!! All the best with the house too mate we have had ours 6 years this October and its the best thing we did!!
  6. Good going mate it will all be worth it when its done!! you wont have any problems fitting it all in the front end at the end of the day its the same bay as the glanza its only the bumper that restricts space for the cooler a bit I could have fitted mine so it went behind the bumper with out butchering the bumper but the pipes where made for a glanza so I fitted it as it came plus I have a 98spec bumper to fit at some point but I quite like it as it is lol so its not a priority! Keep up the good work!
  7. Got a bit more done this week end and today, Welded the silencer into the exhaust also made a jig so I can make different pipes lol that just bolt in, fitted the pacet 13" fan that is a awsome thing compared to the cheep Ebay special it shifts some air lol. I made all custom brackets for mounting the fan on as its front mounted will take picks of them later on as I dint have the camera at hand. I made this today for the idle control valve I am using a FORD one lol It needs to be a 2 wire one unlike the Toyota 3 wire one plus the toyota one was poo lol. TB with stock ICV 4mm ALU plate I started with Cut out and drilled I made the holes the odd shapes to make them as big as poss and still match the valve and the TB Fitted and valve bolted on! Quick polish before I fit it to the car at the week end!
