  1. The stuff I use I get from work its Volvo stuff its very good but takes ages to dry out properly but it stays greasy it does not go hard at all so it does not come off!
  2. Cheers mate it was nice talking to you too! Well I got some more done today got some paint on and the wax oil in the wheel arches. That should help keep it rust free! I also got cracked on with relocating the battery to the boot, I have had the box ages now so I thought I best get on with it! I made all new earth leads to go around the engine bay too as I have used 2 core wire for the relocation it made sense to change them wile I was doing it all. The ones on the right are the earth and the ones on the bobbing are the poss. The cables into the boot I will take some picks of them under the car but I forgot today. The box! Mega fuse on the side to be safe! Just needs to be fastened down now!
  3. You can use the same key if you use the ep82 ecu as they dont have a coded key like the uk cars, the wiring is not that hard to do its only a case of swapping some wires in the ecu plugs and swapping some plugs over I have the wiring diagrams for doing it we did when I did mine years ago, but you will still need a ep82 loom and ecu for the engine.
  4. you need to change the wiring harnesses and the ecu too, you can convert the wring harness from the n\a to work too but it takes a bit of doing but you will still need the ecu, if you modified the harness to fit its easier to use a ep82 ecu as there a 2 plug like the n\a loom.
  5. I was driving a 1965 land rover from about 11 then it was my first car from passing my test and I still have it now!
  6. I'm all paid up!! Me and Kat will be there!
  7. Cheers mate! Its a good job I have because I found some more rot today!! so thats been taken care of now! I came across this in the n/s/r corner at the back of the wheel its been getting a bit of a battering from the muck from the wheel for quite some time! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps4ff0d256.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps1f9676c1.jpg.html'> Another cardboard template http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsa7a739ce.jpg.html'> Then cut out in steel I formed it to go round the raised shaped bit http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps5b8766c7.jpg.html'> Weld through coating on gives a bit more protection http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps5cc9a128.jpg.html'> Ready for welding on. http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsb3673d08.jpg.html'> I did get it welded and painted but forgot to take picks!! I hope this is the last of the welding! 15 years as a daily driver has started to take its toll on the old girl now so plenty of cleaning off the rust, painting and wax oiling is going on!
  8. Well I have the ramp to my self for a week so I thought I would give it a good tidying up underneath! I had not been going long when I found some suspicious bubbles in the paint on the drivers side sill. I then proceeded to scrape them off only to fined the was not a lot left at the back of the paint! So this is what I have been up to today!! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsd20f6d28.jpg.html'> A bit more prodding and it turned into this! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps620f7836.jpg.html'> so I then cut it all out! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps55214af9.jpg.html'> then cut this out from a card template http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps48cab4d4.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps41eda013.jpg.html'> Welded in place http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps08dd9e3d.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpscc602afa.jpg.html'> Next to plate up the top, cut this bit to go inside. http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpscc602afa.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsea2a868b.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsee9629f8.jpg.html'> All welded up! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps4e1bd470.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps9446eee8.jpg.html'> Then it was all rust cured ready for the paint in the morning!! The other side is still as good as new so im not too sure what exactly made this side go like it has apart from there been a bit of water in there.
  9. It was all a bit much for Rob B but Matt and John managed to stop him going over the edge!! He was put in a nice white suit with straps till he calmed down! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/084_zps35216070.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/083_zpsf7067145.jpg.html'> Some of the starlets on track http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/081_zpsda242508.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/074_zps9368dde4.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/073_zpsb29bbeb0.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/071_zpsaf8ad650.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/065_zpsf2eb9919.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/055_zps79dc44d2.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/036_zpsc219d0cb.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/032_zps8df6fff5.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/030_zps6a07e23d.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/035_zps4a48d7e8.jpg.html'> Then the Nissans showing how important it is to have AA cover http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/020_zpsd1bd2810.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/019_zpsb33168d0.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/017_zpsec15b84f.jpg.html'> http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/Japfest%201%202013/015_zps4a48b7f8.jpg.html'>
