small update! The boss was not happy with the Cusco Diff so I decided that this was the way to go! So I got the spare Gearbox out and had it checked over and a full strip down to make sure every thing was good and yes I got my ££££ out this time lol. once I got it back 3 day turn around! I could not have done it in that time with work, I gave it a good cleaning ready for the new shaft seals coming from Toyota tomora and fitting.

Nice to see plenty of GSDs on here!! its all we have had for the 20+ years and all of them have been car dogs lol This is my shadow, shadow the day we picked him up before we knew what was going to come! first snow and all ready going every where in the Starlet this was in the Lakes All was going well till he started been lame in his front left leg so we took him to the vets to see what they had to say so 2 xrays later we found out he had short ulna syndrome/elbow dysplasia so it was decision time there was 4 choices 1, the wankers way out put him to sleep this was not even a choice!!

Nanglebadgers work in progress
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to Nanglebadger's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Looking good mate it will all come together in the end! oil leaks on the sumps on these are a real pain in the ass!! The one I am running now has been good up to now but I have had some dogs over the years. It does help to leave them to set before filling them with oil, the way I do it is to put the silicone on then put the sump up loose but making contact all the way round then tighten it up the next day doing it this way it forms like a proper seal and tightens up real good once the bolts are torqued up properly doing it this way I have never had one leak! Nice to see some one keeping ther -
Good going mate it will all be worth it when its done!! you wont have any problems fitting it all in the front end at the end of the day its the same bay as the glanza its only the bumper that restricts space for the cooler a bit I could have fitted mine so it went behind the bumper with out butchering the bumper but the pipes where made for a glanza so I fitted it as it came plus I have a 98spec bumper to fit at some point but I quite like it as it is lol so its not a priority! Keep up the good work!

Got a bit more done this week end and today, Welded the silencer into the exhaust also made a jig so I can make different pipes lol that just bolt in, fitted the pacet 13" fan that is a awsome thing compared to the cheep Ebay special it shifts some air lol. I made all custom brackets for mounting the fan on as its front mounted will take picks of them later on as I dint have the camera at hand. I made this today for the idle control valve I am using a FORD one lol It needs to be a 2 wire one unlike the Toyota 3 wire one plus the toyota one was poo lol. TB with stock ICV 4mm ALU plate I sta

How a bout this mixmash lol  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-SILVER-/160841869405?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2572ec285d#ht_500wt_1202

The ECU on its own was just shy of 900 quid I did most of the wiring loom and fitted all the AEM sensors, I also made all the custom bits like the trigger wheel set up and the mountings for the coil packs. To put a price on it with the mapping I think it would be over the 3000 mark for the full set up. It cost me a lot less as I did most of the work involved and I did a lot of hours work for RDT in exchange for his time on my car so I saved a small fortune lol
