Speak to dean at rw developments - he will be able to sort it - if it's blowing so bad (as you said it's around 2mm out) it shouldn't of been sent out as they are ment to be a very tight fit (as mentioned), I would of thought that of the great rep race tech have got, they would do something about it, but hey that's me believing in good customer service and paying for a product that's fit for purpose.

There should be a plate invetween the the wastegate and turbo part alreadywelded into the downpipe/elbow.

Its a turbosmart oil cap, TD had them on offer around 2 years ago as turbosmart had discontinued them. Great build mate - what turbo kit you going for?

Removing all the crap off the paintwork will help alot - ie decon with iron x/purple rain, and then a good claying will improve it alot, you can now polish the paintwork back. The halfords polishers arent the best - you dont get any cutting pads with them - its just like using a microfibre cloth real fast and relying on whichever product you are using to the work. Ideally a dual action polisher (DAS6) and some decent polishing pads will work wonders (as shown above). All depends on how much you want to spend how keen you are on doing it yourself, dor a DA, pads and polishes your looking around £130-140 - a little bit more than you would pay for a good mop, but least you have the gear then for the future. Blue maskign tape can be bought off ebay, use the 3m stuff though, i got some cheap ones off ebay and they arent as sticky and lift very easy.

R888s are fine in wet/damp conditions - its where there is standing water they wont have any grip, check out R1R for wet use, but im a fan of federal rsr tyres. As for changing them after 1000miles - that will depend on your driving, as shorty said, they come with around 5mm tread from new (normal road tyres come close to around 8mm). As road tyres they will be illegal at normal tread depth of 1.6mm, however these will be fine for drag/track use.

Yes with you saying that you adjusted preload - i thought like james had told 2 previous people to use this to lower the car as the shock wouldnt wind down low enough to get the car lower. So these ones have the revised rear shocks so the car can go lower - As i know several people were wary as to if these would be amended. For £400 they are a bargain!

Why are you messing around with compression of the spring to lower them? Will the shock screw/wind down any lower or is it bottoming out? As this was what the issue was originally with them, that the shock is bottoming out and wont go any lower, and the only way to get them lower is to alter the preload and slacken the spring off to get them to sit lower.

I know the ones TD originally did were alot larger bore, and the hks isn't that much bigger than stock. From the looks of the race tech and Zisco ones they look bigger than stock.

very popular in the honda scene, but their RR overreads alot - so if you do go there - just be aware of that Theres alot of tuners that have the hks software that arent authorised by HKS - just need to ask around. But if your wanting your closest, then its probably TDI.
