Yes thats what i was hoping, visually it looks the same, i have got one on my ep82 at the moment but its seen better days and although working I cant get the fucking thing off. One of the bolts is just spinning round and round grrrrr!!! There about £200 new from tuning developments so i want to get it off!

Castle combe is a really fun track, although its a bitch there is no run off on the corners, so if you cock it up its easy to end up in the tyre wall! Cant wait for this

Excited to be rocking up in a new starlet for 2012, got no bloody clue how its going to handle though, shes got a much shorter wheel base than the ep82. I'll be looking to get it corner weighted again and the geometry set for some bonkers cornering

Sorry i missed this! I have pulled alot of stock bits off like the suspension, calipers, fuel tank. The discs are screwed, but you could have had them for nothing if he said, the scrap man is gonna get them at some point. Just got tons of car bits cluttering up my drive lol Yes your dad was struggling going up the driveway ha ha, he wasnt giving it enough beans The 1.0litre starlet used to fly up it ha ha. Glad the car is working better too, carbs can be a right fooker if there not set up properly. Thanks again for coming down to collect the engine, bet it was a bitch to get back out of his boot! Have you tried adjusting the idle with the screw? If that does nothing its more than likely a vacume leak, it will idle unusually high if you have a leak somewhere. You need to check all the pipes coming off the intake manifold at the back, you have got about half a dozen vacume pipes, take each one off and put your thumb over it to test its ok. I'll bet my money its that ;)

Ai opting for a straight 2.5" from the front decat to the back (flexi in the middle) then a hidden box with a pipe pointing down, so full on stealth might get him to weld an inch pea shooter to stick out the back for Lolz

Oh and i have just booked the car in at Prospeed Cardiff for Friday 25th November to get a full zorst made up, booked the day off work too! and possibly an intercooler depending on price.

I am gonna see how she goes just like this first, the car is lighter than my ep82 starlet by nearly a 100kg and its not even stripped, so i think it will fly. Last time I had it dynod she was making 201bhp at 0.83 bar, but now its got the power steering pump removed, so its not sucking power from the crank any more so i figure i will get a few free HP just by not having that. Its standard internals so dont want to push it to much, i reckon an emanage blue mapped is on the cards next get about 230ish hp and that's it then. I wont mod it any more unless i go forged. Which when i do (which i will at some point) I am not gonna bother with 4e, im gonna go the full hog and put a forged 5e in and go for mental power, but that is miles off at the moment but thats how i am gonna progress this project as it develops! Da daaaaaa Finally got rid of the excess wiring!! Although i chopped out a grey relay on the left hand side where the loom comes in and then the car wouldn't start, doh so put that back on Nice to get my foot wells back! All the unused wiring i chopped out. I can put the rest of the dash back in now which is good, so for the most part all the interior is complete aside from the clocks.

From the readings from the other cylinders though the engine looks healthy and not worn, so a piston ring is less likely, I would bet my money on the head gasket, especially if you have got rust residue on your plug.

Yeah why not, i would allow anyone to submit one but it has to be verified properly by a mod first i.e you!
