  1. very nice car you got there from a geniune guy mate! look forward to a nosey at the next show however i cant help notice the lack of of rear cup holders? however will you survive or are you selling the golf to afford another set?
  2. yea its under passanger side you have to remove a few bits to get at it but doesnt take long. just reasonable quality tools. ive herd of people snapping sockets/extention bars/ ratchets or rounding bolts because the tools are just shit. the manifold bolts have likely been on there since they care was new so there not exactly keen to come off.
  3. are we able to invite not starlet people on the stand? i have a group of friends that are thinking about coming to jae but not sure if there will be that many was going to invite them onto our stand if its alright as they all seem pretty bang on there doing the same 1000mile ill be doing so certainly keen!
  4. Manifolds pretty simple aslong as you have decent tools. And yea you can leave it open to atmosphere or remove the pipes by taking out the condenser under the dash and there's a wee blanking plate to cover it from Id-workz
  5. if you could be bothered with the road trip liam id certainly be intrested in your carbon bonnet and could meet you at wallaces house for the swap ha!
  6. I ran my stock injectors and stock for at 1.3bar on a td04 for well over a year and a half with no bother at all till I broke the car. Was a low milage engine to start with tho
  7. Our cars don't have a EGR best taking a pic of it to be sure but only thing I can think of on the left would be the idle control valve
  8. ive used a few sets of rx7 ones there a direct fit. 1.2bar your stock injectors wouldnt even be maxed so dont really need changed to be honest
  9. depends on width but likely need stretch tyres front isn't To bad rear is where my issues arose
  10. Ull need the arches rolled pretty heavily and some stretch tyres to start with the car not silly low with quite firm suspension
  11. Agreed I was quoted £4500 to buy and import a car I had seen in Japan by a company in the uk. I done it myself and total cost was £2000
