well its been awhile since i updated this. i rebuilt and sprayed my new lsd gear box and fitted my orc clutch before heading up to the drag strip with some mates. sadly for love nor money i couldnt get the car to go straight and it was pulling horednously all over the place so only managed an embarrsing 13.9. couldnt work out what was happening with it and with banzia approaching i decided to take the car with some of the scottish lads up to that and just have it parked up all day. the car was actualy extremely well received with alot of people looking and taking pictures of -

i was planning on going but just decided to swap aload of stuff on mine so doubt it will be remapped in time. -
he had some bother with it so had the engine removed rebuilt and whole engine bay sprayed at same time along with alot of new hardware for refitting so same engine just fair bit of work done to it since.

the speed sensor is fitted to the cluster on our cars. the cable gives the mechanical drive to the cluster which in turn sends a voltage to the ecu. i cant remember the exact pin but its marked as vechile speed sensor on the ecu pin outs -
There the same leads just the glanza also comes with a king lead. I have a set of blue ngk ones in the house there not as thick like the magnacores tho. Only after £20 posted

I have one from my glanza was fine before I removed it I just bought a lsd one instead
-
It's one of my mates very clean he recently spent a lot getting work done on it but the boy dragged his heels doing the work so think Scott's just lost the love for it at the minute

*97* TD04 Glanza... round 2 replacement
_shaun_ replied to Ollieh17's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
querky wee cars i quite like them but not being a slim chap would take far to much abuse if i bought one ha! -
Aye if he can't work it out he's not much of a mechanic. Either use compressored air down the bores or string and rotate the engine to top dead center to compress. Then change as you would with the head off. There's a smart tool from blue point that removes and refits the collets with the hit of a hammer
-
just when you set off? i get it on mine if i leave it for a few days as the brakes get some surface rust soon get a kinda cracking nosie as i drive off and then its fine.
-
can always try that just make sure you keep an eye on the boost level
-
it seems to be abit hit or miss ive seen some people just add some metal spacers to the waste gate to increase the boost
-
i got a 1.2bar spring of demon motorsport and it only runs at .8bar ha. stay clear of gizzo and hdi stuff herd bad reveiws on both
