  2. as far as am aware hes been keeping his eyes out for a tte spliter but the ones that pop up people want stupid money for so he would never actauly make any profit. and the people who do have them no there rare so dont want to lend them to him to make copys

  7. good news about the insurance hopefully if u do as much of the work as u can u might end up with a few quid left over for the trouble. happened to me with my civic i ended up +£450 for my hastle lol
  8. hoping to start of with 1.6bar on a td05 when engines forged to see what i can push but wonder what the limits of the arp headbolts are. and what would be involved if i went down the head stud route
  9. tbh its worth speaking to who u plan on getting to map it. the maps only as good as the tuner regardless of system so find the best mapper u can and have a word with them about what they would sujest

  12. better not ha thats colour i want mine in
  13. the valve springs restrict the rev limit more than power from the turbo i think.am going to pick up a td05 for mine time i get it maped be cheaper in the long run to just get the turbo at the same time the engines done
  14. down to you mate but there £320 from hongkong and u might get hit by import tax. theres no feedback about them or the company and there claims about what they can stand is highly unlikely. drop idrees a pm and ask him for a price on a set of pec rods look at the price diffrence and ask urself its its worth risking your engine going bang and the time and money it will take to sort it out if it does. and rember import tax is 20%+ so u migt end up paying more for these unherd of rods than a set of tryed and tested pec rods from iddy
  15. if i were u id spend a bit more and get a decent brand or atleast some proven good feedback. they will only be a cheap set of rods if they stand up to the job if they end up failing it will end up costing u far more. buy cheap buy twice as the saying goes
  16. trees on one side and water on the other work in the middle of nowhere lol
  17. u need to swap the rack over to a non powersteering rack if u just unbult the pump and pipes it will go stupidly heavy steering
  18. its around 60mile round trip to work for me so saving a fortune with it and the last mile isnt even a road its just potholes so the glanza wouldnt stand a chance of getting down it lol.
  19. £1300 so not to bad costs £30 for 12 months road tax i just stood stunned at the post office like realy?? had no way to argu about type of car tho as i just blew almost the same on parts for this 5e lol
  20. aasco also do a lightweight version for the 5e which allows you to use the 4e clutch. wonder if a certain trader whos rapidly expanding could add them to his stock
  21. an epic 65 bhp 03 plate clio lol. sadly the misses got the final word over what car to get and she liked it
  22. u just going for the stock 4e head on it? if u could give me a shout with a rough price for what u paid for the machine work that be helpful
