HDI BOOST CONTROLLER AND CUSCO PANHARD ROD £100
mech5107 replied to McCormick_91's topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
Do you sell only the boost controller? -
Running higher boost than normal, without managment leads to afrs of less than 10:1, so it's drinking petrol AND loosing power. My 2etelu, ct12, 60mm DP and exhaust, 0,85bar, HKS filter, new ignition cables/sparks/rotor/cap, doesn't get any lower than 7,5l/km (~30MPG) with steady running at 90-100km/h (highway) In the city, i'm stragling to reach 23MPGs. This is only achieved by running in N/A mode always...not once on boost... The petrol is normal (for Greece) 95 octane petrol, hasn't seen any true difference on 100octane.
-
Interested in the hot pipe...do you ship to Greece?
-
Better put the sensor in the exhaust, after the downpipe. It's needed to have some distance from the engine...they don't like the heat very much. I suppose you have a decat-pipe...if not, it won't ready correct. You don't have to wire through the ECU...
-
Use a T joint and add it to the line going to the MAP sensor.
-
What's the pcd?
-
Bent axles, damaged cv joints, lost balance weights, etc...
-
Also check your driveshafts...
-
I don't think that a cheap option (emanage, etc) will do the job. You will probably need a standalone ecu... A cheap option is to get a megasquirt. Also i'd suggest going for a tps controlled setup instead of map, because of usually poor vacum level due to the quad bodies
-
I'm interested in the mounts... Could you send me some phtotos?
-
Just for your reference, there is also the http://www.toyodiy.com/ where you could find all epc content.
-
Use the stock ecu and add a wideband to see how it's running. Maybe them an emanage blue or SAFC could do the fine tunning. Also use the 5efhe intake, and wire the second runners soleinoeid to a rpm switch, like the ones that flash in rpm meter for gear change.
-
Why you say that? 550cc injectors from an rx7 should be ok for the emanage blue...

Converting to 4E-FTE - Will I need to upgrade my N/A fuel pump?
mech5107 replied to Zeldoz's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Standar 4efe and 4efte pumps are the same... Also standar 2e-e pump is the same, if i'm not mistaken... Should be good up to 160-170 ps, i think. I personally got a walbro, just in case... -
What is US lights? Except that the corner ones are a bit more yellowish than mine, seems about the same...

N/A clutch is 200mm, turbo clutch is 212mm. In what engine are you putting the flywheel to?

I suppose the shocks you got are to be used with aftermarket top mounts, so the bigger/special diameter.
-
