your not allowed to leave a car uninsured on a public road or placeas it is already. for example. if the handbrake failed and it hit another car. it was to be insured anyway. how long does it take to remove a SORN notification? and if you have 6 months tax, then notify it SORN, does the tax get cancelled? do you get refunded? seems very complicated now

so two questions 1. what sort of afr readings am i looking at for on the dyno? between what figures 2. if i want to put the fuel pressure guage inside the car, obviously i dont want fuel running inside. so do i just get an isolator valve, then run a hose to the guage in the car and put the mechanical sard guage ive got in the car. 2a) if the above is right, do i still use fuel hose? 2b) what liquid do i use? ive read antifreeze, water and oil? 2c) do i need a particular fitting/size fitting to make it fit the sard guage this is all.

ive just put evo 7 recaros in mine aswell, does the oem folding lever still work? i have to slide and roll the seat forward manually now? thanks

i looked for a passenger side rail for ages, and then went for it and fabbed one. it wasnt hard and the seat is very solid. its up to you mate with how confident you feel fabbing one, i had a couple of mates help me that had done them before in civics etc. the only welding i had to do was with the seat belt plug, as we had to move that to bolt into one of the seat rail bolts
-
i think you will have to fab some adapter plates, i had adapter plates to make my recaro's fit a bride rail. i made my passenger one by taking the feet off the standard rail and welding them to a universal recaro rail from demon tweaks if you drill the rivets/pins off the standard feet on the rail you can just bolt them onto the universal one, the holes all line up (on an ep91 atleast)

ive got it turned right down, its just creep that takes me that high. which is why i want a zisco ext gated one, fix the creep and the mani problem with one part two birds with one stone. it will get orded next month

im on the rolling road on sunday at 10am, when hes checking my afr and i wont be on any motorways etc, so itll be no more than 60 or so although i might turn it down a little bit, as its boggy at low revs atm does anyone know what the standard fuel pressure is? thanks
-
well, thats what my boost guage shows. mani is on the to be ordered list, probably a zisco with ext wastegate i have ported it, but it might of been ported back in japan (?) unlikely i guess i only fitted a fpr yesterday too, and it did blow up in the year i owned it before

i am running stock injectors ct9 @ 0.8 creeping to 1.1bar relocated airfilter turbo back blitz exhaust system (inc zisco decat) JAM FCD I have a guage off the fpr, in the engine bay, so i can monitor it on idle, cant really look when moving haha

Where can I get blue HKS filter element? Tried everywhere! :(
TrisK replied to Browner's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
try funkypower.co.uk, they carried my rare blue greddy filter -
sard fpr is on now. although the car feels boggy now at low rpm, so i think ive gone from lean to rich, cant win haha will be checked on the rollers on sunday. excited to see what it makes
-
ok, so i set it, and now until 4k it feels very boggy. also seems to be struggling to start, have to turn the key for quite a while. Is this running too rich? I stress, i am getting this checked on Sunday at 10am. but i just want to get it roughly right im currently at 3.1 bar (at idle, with the vacuum connected) boost is set to 0.8 creeping to 1.1 Thanks
-
mine just bogs the car rather than locking the wheels. i got told it was because it was discs on the rear and hubs were much better for instant locking
-
1 bar of fueling? or do you mean 'fueling for 1 bar of boost?'. Thanks for the rough idea mate. do you have a guage on it? what fuel pressure are you running? thanks
-
mine did this, was a sticky relay
-
there is a way to make 98 fit the 96 bumper, somebody did it with one of iddy's varis bumper but they said they spent ages, and it still didnt fit right
-
well, i cant see what pressure it is til the engine is idling, but i dont want to start it up on 0 do I :/ Im putting it on saturday, then just need to drive to the rolling road where it will all be checked
-
ok, so heres the question, i got my saard fpr today, how do you adjust it is it from the bolt underneath the vacuum hose ;) could somebody show me where abouts down the thread 3.1bar is, just so i can turn my car on with it roughly right. also some pictures of where in the engine bay you have it mounted? thanks
-
so, im on the dyno next Sunday/Monday here is the spec Blitz Nurspec system with Zisco Stainless Decat Standard Manifold HKS Actuator set to 0.8bar (Creeping to 1-1.1 bar) JAM FCD Saard FPR set to 3.1 bar (will be on by the time i get dyno'd) HKS Mushroom Relocated to the front Standard intercooler HKS SSQV3 Dump Valve Boost Restrictor Removed Anyone got any idea roughly what power to expect. Engine is on 80k (miles) and is in generally good condition with regular oil/filter changes. Thaks
