  1. Well as some of you may know, I live on a little island off the mainland UK, called Guernsey. There isnt a lot over here, in terms of car modifying etc. and although there is a fairly large cruising scene there isnt a lot in the way of tuning potentional. I want to come over to the UK, would be going to Weymouth/Poole area. If i did come over, is there many starlet owners round that area I could meet up with? Or any recommened rolling road places over there, where I could get AFR checked and get dynoed? Thanks

  3. your fine. she probably has moaned about you to the plod, but if the best they can do is look at your tax then they obviously have nothign to go on. if somebody complains then they have to be seen the area (otherwise she would only be moaning to them about useless police not doing anything) just keep it below the speed limit, and keep the revs down if its late at night (surely your taking it easy as your pulling up to the drive to let the turbo cool down anyways). and be careful, it happened to my mate he used to boot it along this one road in his evo at 5am on the way to work every day p
  4. i will check tomorrow, thankyou. i just thought it couldnt be overboosting as my FCD would tell the ecu that it wasnt overboosting, even though it is obviously im not hitting fuel cut (due to the fcd) and there is no affect on performance
  5. is this a suggestion of what it is? or just a fyi? would the fcd block this code from ever showing? can i still check it even though the light put itself out? or do i bridge the connector, then make it do it? or will it read the last code from the machine?

I am running my glanza, it is set to 0.7 bar but creeps to around 1.1 at the top of the rev range (creeping due to relocated airfilter and decat/exhaust system) When i get to approx 5 thousand in second the engine light comes on, as i slow down it normally goes off, but as if i keep booting it (only done it once, as i genuinly didnt notice the light) it stays on until i turn the car off and back on again. If the light is turning itself off is there a way i can read the code still? i have a fcd, so its not the boost cut light, unless that would still come on just not cut it? i also dont ha

  9. well, i had never noticed, but im sure ill get told 'duh' by loads of you but 98 spec and 96 spec wing mirrors are different. when my mate snapped my wing mirror off with a football, i had a look on ebay, and eneded up picking up a glanza drivers mirror with glass for £17 shipped in blueish silver. My mirror was snapped at the black base plate, so the plan was to unscrew the mirror from the base plate from the lower 3 screws and screw my colour coded bit on. but the 3 screws are in a different layout on the 96/98 spec mirrors :/ so no worries, ill just put the whole mirror on and

  13. ok, so i came second in POTM, beaten by Marc Moss. But there are some updates on the car. 1. The HIDs are back in and working 2. The standard rear lights are back on, i know you will all be happy 3. The JAM spoiler is on ;) I have also sticker bombed the dash insert, although I havent decieded weather to laquer it in or not one of the evo 7 recaros in in, although waiting to work out WTF to do with the passenger rail side, then that seat will be in (Ps, what do the standard glanza spoilers (98 spec clear brake light) go for? is it worth selling?)
  14. lew try this unlock the phone to the main screen. hold the lock button, and the home (circle) button together until the phone screen goes black, and shows an apple logo (this could take 30 seconds) the phone will then reboot, and take you back to the home screen. try again now and see if it still pauses

  23. well my car was damaged today, twice some guy a bashed up old e class merc was reversiing out of a space next to me, went hard lock and put his front bumper into my rear one was being a knob, went to drive off before i stopped him. as i was standing a bit away from my car. and was mubbling when i tried to get his details off him, but gave him a pen, and he just wrote them down. rang the police, and they said just to take his details and they had made a note of it. was a big scuff down the the back bumper, luckily no damange to the volks or to the rear quater. most of it has polished out,
