    if i put it on doors only, then the lights on the dash come on to say the door is open, but the interior light doesnt actually light up will try and get a multimeter to test it :\

  3. as i said up there, he traded a hks specced evo x for the focus. so its clear which one he prefers. he also test drove a s3, but he said it was one without the recaro interior and therefore felt a little bit cheap inside
  4. Right, well the other day, my interior light stopped working. I have changed the bulb, and its still not working. Is there a fuse for it? I thought it was on the interior one with the cd player and clock. but they are both still working is there an engine bay fuse for it? My clock is really dim a lot of the time, but i dont know if that is related. head unit works fine. Any ideas? thanks guys

  7. well he swapped his Evo X for the RS, and he says that he much prefers it. and he find the Focus much more reliable than the Evo. It was a FQ360. He also says it handles better, and the only downside is the cornering in the wet. The wheel spin does slow it down a lot, its very difficult to put it down off the line/away from the lights. but once your moving, your moving. Also the torque, is phenomonal, it just pulls. 4th gear, 30 to 80 takes no time at all
  8. yeah, he got this one second hand. he px'd his evo x for it. he reckons its much more fun to drive than the evo. I would never go for a brand new one, but if you can pick up a tidy one with only a few thousand miles for 20 grand. if I had 20 grand, id be tempted. its one of those cars, where the wife could drive it easily and not know, as deep down its just a ford. but the husband could still get in it and give it a proper ragging
  9. you can get adapter things that go inbetween the ariel and the headunit. or just buy a UK spec headunit

  11. Well all day today and tonight, I was driving my mates Focus RS Mk2. Oh my god, its amazing. Steering is amazing. throttle response is amazing, noise is incredible. Its standard except for being lowered 60mm, and decatted. Pops and bangs something wicked, sounds amazing. All the interior is lovely as well, such a nice place to me. and all the mod cons like reversing sensors/camera/awesome sound system all contributes to make the cabin a well nice place to be. if you get the chance to buy/drive one. DO IT. I want one, money just doesnt alllow that haha.

    ah, i was on two trolley jacks, one either side. it was alright tbh. would have upset me more if the car rolled over haha
  14. click options on the first post in a topic, then look near the bottom, and channge the view mode to standard
  15. it is bad for the bulb to turn it on and off lots, iirc 3 times an hour is the limit :/ so probably a bad idea for full beams to have HIDS, unless it is a single HID bulb that changes angle (not possible in a quadlight obviously)

    yeah, tried up and down. smacking it with a screw driver and a hammer. remebering the 3 rules of engineering: always use the right tool for the job the right tool is a hammer anything can be used as a hammer

    tried to adjust my rear suspension, after the front was dead easy. just wanted to go a fair bit lower. went fine on one side, other was a right bastard could spin the locking cup down, but couldnt get the actually spring below one down so dropped the shock out, took it apart. so there was no tension on it.spun the bottom cup. then using c-spanners, swan necks, and a screwdriver and hammer still couldnt spin the cup down. tried degreaser, grease, heat everything. so ended up having the put the other side back up. what a stupid waste of day. really really wound up haha. but on the plus sid
