The gauge on the dash is the small sensor. Single plug near the 2 pin ecu sensor. If you put the wire from the small sensor to ground the gauge should read max if it doesn't you have a wiring fault. You need to try that with ignition on

I was in halfords the other day and they have a sign saying buy it, along with some other stuff to make shore you have every thing to change the oil with. Not really needed but each to there own

Have you got the a vac pipe on wrong sucking the valve open?

Ecu water temp sensor could be at fault or o2 sensor. I'd try a new temp sensor first

I will get some pic up of how dirty the work horse is getting. Hasn't had a clean since Japfest haha I must say the 5E is doing well. Gets into the redline every day and still going well with 106000 odd on the clock. Was having a poke around and found this not sure if it's on all Toyota seat belts.

Been cracking on with some of the wiring haha if you scare of wires then look away now Got to finish of the exhaust just need a 1.5m section with a flexi and jobs a good'n I could have had this up and running ages ago. I'm lazy tho, I work on car all day so working on my car is not top of my list of things to do.
