Still think you need more power haha -
Haha yes didn't acount for your attention to detail. Might as well bang a cam belt on whilst the engine is out for peice of mind. Pain in the ass to do it in place. You couldn't have a fiesta like that and not put the 1.7 engine in. It does like to be thrashed

Weekend job? Being a mk5 basically, should only take a day max. Especially with some extra hands. I do kinda like the mk4 fiesta. Was the first car I changed the engine on haha
-
Why are 5e's so hard to find? I have one but need a swap
turbo Grant replied to J25GTi's topic in Lifestyle General
Gota remember the only uk car fitted with the 5e was the paseo and they only sold just over 2000 befor they pulled it from the market. -
I see the correct dash for the puma engine already. My boss has a set of ford Motorsport wheels of an RS turbo escort. Would look smart on the little fiesta

I've done a pumesta conversion on the floor. Easy swap, put the 4-2-1 manifold on and it did go. Went off the clock easy haha. You will need to change the clocks to the digital ones on that shape
-
Might be worth putting a new engine temp ecu sensor in.
-
Lovely bonnet. Got mine sat on the roof of my car waiting to go on.

Fully synthetic oil is designed for modern engins. I don't like using full syn can make our engins leak like a sive. I only run semi or mineral in the e series

Your dv now on the cold side? -
Isnit it the long life low ash fully synthetic stuff. High in detergent to try keep the deisel engins clean and manifold from filling up with not so much crap. Would work In an E series engine. I wouldn't use it my self out of choise

Good work. It will be fine when you turn the key. Just remember to prime it all. Before you start it. It does cost quite a bit when you add it all up. Best not to look at what you spend haha -
Its good checking if you have undersized bearing. And within tolerance
-
Prize for the person furthest away haha
-
Haha no smoke no poke as they say. Wonder what engine it has. The new diesel engine pump out some cracking torque
-
I've talked to my boss about plastigauge. Never used it my self. He says it works ok. As for the tolerances they are floating about some were.
