Theres a detailed spec on here somewhere (I'll search later) but the final gear on the 6 speed box is almost identical to that on the 5 speed box. You get no added cruising benefits just a shorter stack from 1st through to 5th.

S15 Spec S's are, essentially theyre just a rebodied S14 with a 5 speed box and no tubby. 150bhp etc etc. The Autech S15s came with a smidge over 200bhp, R33GTR front brakes, R34 rear brakes, the 6 speed box from the Spec R and a slippy diff... Basically they have everything the Spec R has bar a turbo! Just VVT and a high compression ratio

Gonna give them a few years until they are down to 10k! It was the GT86 that got me thinking of the Autech S15! Revvy 2 litre 200bhp petrol engine, RWD, similar weights, 6 speed box... Arguably as good looking/better looking

As far as I'm aware no one has tested one to destruction yet! But the sensible limit seems to have been agreed upon of around 250bhp :-P

Meh. I went to them to have a Zisco mani fitted to my old V and to buy an air filter relocation kit off them. A 'Drift' filter and my manifold hanging off 100 miles later left me a little disappointed to be honest. EDIT: this was after being told and them advertising it as coming with a Green filter.

Drove a friends S2000 a few weeks back, really nice car, cracking engine, but the back end doesn't half let go with a boom! I thought my Altezza was twitchy how I had my coilovers set up but my god that thing let go in a hurry lol

I've been swinging towards an ST205 myself tbh. That or the Mazda GTR! (Size weight and tweak ability appeal massively!) The skyline non GTRs are off the list mainly because IMO you may aswell buy an S body with an RB20DET. GTRs mainly down to price and running costs. S15 Autech has had some cracking reviews! And even after import costs etc I'm pretty certain I could get one in and road legal for sub £6k, uk importers mark them up massively when they arrive simply due to the fact that there aren't many of them over here. Parts for the mazda GTR are easier to get hold of than I initially tho

The weight/price of the supra puts me off tbh! Always wanted one but I think the pure size of the thing would get on my tits after a while, I'm a bigger fan of back road hooning than motorway blasting :-P Skylines are expensiveeee for a decent one, and expensive to keep on the road by all accounts! Lol

They are, the 6th gear is about as long as a standard Vs 5th, so quicker acceleration yes, same revs at motorway speeds :-(

Redtop Corsas are cheap, bulletproof and pretty quick. Alfa 145 Cloverleaf? As quick as a red top corsa only they sound nicer :-P Aslong as the cambelts done they're fine! And you don't use an oiled air filter.

I've had 2 and they have been fine. Might be hit and miss! There warranties are faultless though if the exhaust is shit, a bracket snapped off one of mine from a big speed hump and they repaired it free of charge

Cracked my windscreen last month.. Wasnt even much of a pothole. Like a mini succession of the swines. More annoyed.
