  1. Catch cans are a waste of money IMO and unwanted weight in the engine bay. I think breathing is more efficient if you just route the 2 pipes straight to the bottom of the car that way the gasses are being pulled straight out without having to build up in a can and go through a breather. Catch cans can also cause back pressure when you floor it. The main purpose of a better breathing system is to get rid of crankcase gasses faster which is restricted by a catch can compared to venting the pipes straight out into the atmosphere.
  2. Purchased this in summer 2012. It cost the best part of a grand!

  17. Hello I have a few smoke related questions if anyone can answer them it would be much appreaciated. If the turbo oil seals are gone what colour smoke comes out of the exhaust on idle and on boost? If the ringlands are fu*ked what colour smoke on comes out of the exhaust on idle and boost? If the stem seals are gone what colour smoke comes out of the exhaust on idle and boost? Thanx in advance! H_D

  19. The will need to do a dry fit and check the rotation to see how much material needs to be taken off for the notching and then take it apart again to notch the block and rebuild again! As far as i know there are not really any measurements for how much a block needs to be notched as casting marks on every block are different. Im sure somone will clear this up if I am wrong.
