You need a set of spring clamps to tension the springs together on the shocks once they have tensioned up they should move up and down freely, Once the above step has been accomplised you will need to undo the big nut on the top of the shocker which will release the the top plate enabling you to slide the spring off,

Might go for a dry sump as the stock sump is semi baffled anyway

Im hoping to use a 25shot of nos just to help the turbo spool up, will also be using anti lag and launch controll but the big set up will only be for drag days at santa pod

Ive been a member on the forum for a lil while now but never got round to putting up any pics and listing my spec so here goes, 16inch Ultralite G-spec alloys in white, Full setup of KYB Shocks and springs, HDI front mount intercooler 9mm blitz ht leads, Polished cooling panel, HKS actuator, jap performance d-cat pipe, HKS high power silent exhaust, Nomad racing dump valve, Apexi Boost gauge with apexi pod Recaro bucket seat JDM style (driver side) HKS turbo timer 1 off custom built aluminum vent cover for those rainy days Apexi 1.3bar radiator cap Forge motorsport aliminium oil catch tank Zisco performance mild steel ram horn manifold Air filter relocation kit HKS Teflon coated braided brake lines zep racing ecu Clear cam cover Ported ct9 x turbo Walbro 255lph fuel pump TurboSmart boost controller De-badged Flushed radio antenna (looks much better) Zisco rear strut bar Blitz earthing kit Im sure i have missed a few things out and im sure there will be a few more to come. some new bits n bobs! The block has been bored out to 75mm, new block plugs, Arp crank studs and re-linebored also chemically cleaned and fully tested etc... The head has been chemilcally cleaned crack, presssure and vacume tested bench and flowed etc with identical combustion across all 4 chambers, valve seats re-cut with cnc and a 1 off direct fit custom head stud kit (not 4a-ge studs as they are not a direct fit) and cruise springs also ported and polished on exhaust side (still awaiting cams and solid buckets) Pistons rods all Arp connectors, bearings and reground crank fully balanced Sump and strainer chemically cleaned Loads more stuff to come will update soon (hopefully ready for summer 2012)

im sure most oldskool toyota sump plugs are the same try your local scrapyard as i got mines replaced from the scrappy as well as my oil filler cap...dont quote me on this but i think they both came off an mr2

Check the following, King lead (any kinks or splits are connections in good condition and not coroded) Dizzy (check for cracks and make sure all leads are plugged securely) Thermostat, ht leads and plugs,

I work part time at an M.O,T garage so i get it at trade price so i can afford to us it all the time, I think its approx £55-£60 for 5Litres, Im sure Opie does it aswell, Regards H_D

Shell oils are good quality just like their fuels a bit pricey tho, personally i would use millers

check for boost leaks 1st...make sure all your vacume hoses are ok and not split, also check yor intercooler piping joins and make sure the jubli clips or clamps are tightened properly,

if your looking to run high boost i would use arp head studs rather than arp head bolts as they alot more reliable for higher boost levels,

dastek unichips have been around for a long time....go to their website to find authorised dealers and mappers. My mate has his integra mapped on dastek some time ago and if im not mistaken he paid less than £100
