Try lubing up the cable and in side the plastic cover with gt86 or similar that may help James

I had had a silver one and loved it was a fantastic car unfortunately it got written off! If your looking for a car to modify ignis sport is not for you .....aftermarket Parts are rare and expensive when you do come across them You do sit fairly high but the recaros hold you in nicely and as Ollie stated they aren't slow, CTC performance will supply and fit a turbo kit but your looking 4k plus ( I priced it up with them ) Check out my Subaru build thread there's a few pictures of the ignis in the first post Two years ownership and nothing went wrong All in all fantastic little car highly recommend James

This was the set up I had in my NA if your not trying to keep the weight down.... MDF parcel shelf and boot floor Vibe black air 6x9's Vibe 10sub Vibe black air door speaker ( can't remember size) Two mutant X amps I amp'd both sets of speaker and then the sub on the other amp ( can link two amps together ) that way you get control over speaker output as well as sub and overall you get awesome sound ! When I'm on the laptop il try and find you a pic James here you go, only pics I can find are ones near the end so the vibe 6x9 had been replaced with crappy edge ones

The new pioneer app radio is a good unit if you own Iphone that is Try and stay away from the older app radio they freeze and over heat ( I had two of them ) James
