  4. my eyes are deceiving me i think, looks like the back axle on passenger side is bent.. could be just the pics and my tired eyes tho.. lovely looking V mate
  5. looking well man, looked cool at the meet
  6. its a cat heat sensor, not important, its not run to the ecu or anything, turns on the red light with wavy lines on it.. never seen it on tho..
  7. the ATS is important, if the temp inside the throttle body gets too high this sensor sends a signal to the ecu and the ecu adjusts fueling, yes, will run rich
  8. the glanza gearbox takes just under 2litres and the gt gearbox takes about 2.5litres

nope wont effect anything like that unless your not running the correct mods for the boost you want.. set the high setting to the setting/boost your car is running on now and whatever you want then for the low setting
  10. welcome luke.. hope all goes well with the rebuild
  11. dont mess with the pully stops, nuts etc on the throttle body, move the pully by hand to see if its stiff, take off cable if needs be.. id say its the butterfly as said above.. check the cabe too once its disconnected from the pully, use the pedal to push in and out
  12. got my pully and cam gear set from james last week, serious bit of kit and the sweets were lovely too...
  13. if the seals were going ud be burning oil mate plus a turbo will boost away even if the seals are going.. what actuator do you have on there?
  14. ah its one of the easier jobs, just remember to top up the rad and bottle after,
  15. bottom hose mate, follow the bottom hose off rad and where it ends, thats where the thermostat is.. 2 nuts hold on the housing.. you can actually leave on the hose and just disconnect the sensor there then loosen the nuts, no need for sealant after cause the thermostat has a o ring that seals it up once the nuts a tightened back up
  16. seems expensive, i buy mine for 11euro (9 pounds).. what i explained above is pretty easy to do mate.. dont quiet get what ya mean about the low mark but i presume your on about the coolant bottle.. if so it doesnt mean your low on coolant, if your rad is full then thats all the matters.. however, when your at it you could change the whole lot.. drain the whole lot out and replace with new coolant, toyota red coolant seems to be the best to go for
  17. pretty easy mate, no need to drain the coolant but you will loose some so top up after, disconnect the bottom hose off rad at thermostat and support it so the coolant doesnt come out of rad, some coolant will come out.. take off thermostat housing, again some coolant will come out and replace old with new.. if you have not got the thermostat yet, get a 4efe corolla one as these are cheaper but they are the exact same..
  18. thats one lovely car mate, loved those seats when i had my charade detomaso... the dash really updates the car, great work
