  1. Thanks everyone as i said on facebook- very overwhelmed! Topped off an awesome weekend!
  2. Yeah as matt said^^^ I only had time to check the turbo side intercooler pipes before jae. the bend that goes down in front of the gearbox mount had a massive hole and a few smaller holes in it :/ Replaced it now and all is peachy! I'll put a photo of the pipe up tonight haha
  3. I have an SRG manual 4EFTE EP91 ecu. PM me if you're interested!
  4. Exactly what stu said. Check the trigger wire in the starter- get someone to turn the key to start while you test it with a multimeter. Just be careful around the power for the starter (you'll be fine I just panic with stuff like one day there will be a dead short and it will go up in flames). If you don't have 12v at the end of the wire trace it back.
  5. You coming to jae? If so bring it and I'll have it off you
  6. I better wash my car before coming then... haha
  7. Jasma is the JDM standard i think, not the make, my hks hi power silent has a jasma badge on it, something to do with the legal standard of exhausts over there?
  8. Get a wideband afr fitted if you can to check afr's especially on boost. the plug and play ecu's do up the fueling by quite a bit. Or as you say get a rrfpr and get it set up on a rolling road if you can afford. That's your best option i'd say. better to be safe than sorry.
  9. As above- shouldn't need sealant, but you could try some pfte tape or liqid ptfe
  10. Yeah i'm pretty sure they're the same, id-workz stocks them and i've had a few off them with no issues
  11. Does it smoke? on boost? did you hit fuel cut at all? I wouldn't panic, chances are it's just unsettled some shite in the exhaust or as above, overfueling My advance is mapped pretty rich on boost and i get a nice little sooty patch on my rear bumper if i've been kicking it about.
  12. I left mine plugged in and didn't bridge it but i did have this issue when i removed my aircon. It was the thermostat. they're cheap to replace so might be worth just trying a new one, or test yours in a cup of boiling water only 4 bolts to remove it iirc
  13. There are no vac lines on currently - it only boosted to 0.5 with the vac line from the housing to the wastegate (even though the spring pressure is 0.9 and has been mapped etc on the previous set up so no issues with the spring). The turbo and manifold were brand new/freshly skimmed. Used a brand new Subaru gasket. Totally stumped. Lol
  14. Had it stripped yesterday and all looked ok. It's a cheap one but never ever had an issue. Might have to invest in a better one but I'll be gutted if the issue is the same
  15. Well it's externally gAted but used to run 0.9 bar fine on my td04 with a vac signal from the turbo to the bottom port but now only boosts 0.5 with the vac signal but 0.9 without a signal? Intercooler is much much smaller than before so if anything it should boost quicker? Pipe work is about the same tbh.
  16. Hey guys after some advice if I may! Recently fitted a wepr top mount kit and a freshly rebuilt TF035. Long story short it's much laggier than it should be. I've had the wastegate off, lapped the seal in, checked all intercooler pipes etc. it boosts up to 0.9 bar as it should be seems to take forever to get there. Penny washer is definitely clamped shut. No obvious boost leaks- checked all pipe work and wastegate. Any ideas on what to check next would be much appreciated! Goes very well on boost but should be spoiling much earlier, don't see full boost until around 4000rpm ish? Cheers!
  17. Love it! How did you modify the gt kit for the 4 door?
  18. Check the wires to the starter, the signal wire has come off/been damaged maybe? had this on one of mine
  19. Welcome dude! I also have all 3 generations
  20. I've not made my mind up whether i'm coming thursday or friday yet, possible thursday. Happy to help where needed though!
