I have a TF035 turbo that's had a recent rebuild with midland turbo? Covered about 1000 miles on my car since and been mint.

Just go on ebay and search for it, i got a meter length for my top mount kit and cut it down to the right size.

Google pirtek, i'm not sure if they trade over in ireland though. I got mine made up by them, i went for 30mm length and its plenty for most set ups, i've now gone top mount and it's perfect for that just the right length.

5E block is 20mm taller hence the longer stroke. Measure from the crank bolt on the bottom pulley to the deck of the block. I think it's 94mm stroke on a 5E so a 4E would measure 74mm and a 5E would measure 94mm. I may be wrong on the figures but 5E is definitely longer block.

Cheers guys starting to prep the rest of the shell now. Few bits of surface rust etc so I'm not rushing it too much. Also ordered a cheeky turbo kit from wepr and a few other bits. Collected this little gem yesterday too I'll take photos as I go along!

It does look good in person! i need to get the engine out of the advance and spray that really want to do it now i've done this!

I've ran loads of wheels and i can tell you is that i have some work wheels that are 7.5J et20 and they scrubbed until i'd lifted it by about 10mm on the D2 coilovers. currently run some work equips that are 8J et 20 and they poke a fair bit- i have 195 tyres on them to tuck the tread in but without stiff coilovers they'd be undrivable

It's about offset as well as width. can't say an 8j wheel will/won't scrub without knowing the offset

I was out competing with the horse all day today but managed to get the other door sprayed yay. Loads of little fruit flies about at the minute with it being quite mild. And they love to land on stuff in spraying. So had to get the tweezers out a fair bit little nuggets. Also mounted a wing up to the bay for comparison I think it will be eye catching when the bonnet is open in contrast with the beige

The rest of the car is a very subtle colour- hearing aid beige pretty much so at least there's something eye catching when you pop the bonnet. I was just going to do it white but I will admit it went a bit wrong- the purple pearly had gone a weird creamy colour and it looked totally poo so I covered it with the purple haha.

Thanks for the kind words guys Managed to get the bay done today! Ended up making my own mix. It's purple candy with some candy pink and some pearl. Photos don't do it justice it looks insane in person love it! Also got the door built back up and the other one ready for primer/paint. Loads of progress today!

A bit more elbow grease tonight Plenty of panel wipe and it came up pretty good in the bay. Going to go over it again and then get it in primer hopefully tomorrow. Also managed to get on of the spare doors painted. The bonding that held the bump strip on was a nightmare to get off! Razor blade and some tar and glue remover... And started stripping out a lot of the interior ready for routing wires etc
