ooh good! i've gone with proxes for a while now but heard good things about the rainsports to thought i'd give them a go. they've just been fitted to the wheels today so once the rear axle is done i'll get the back end completed and get some better pics of them on the car with the back end on the floor

I've honestly not tried them but heard some good things, i'm not confident in the wet really so i thought these might be a bit of confidence boost over time

Yeah tactical error on that.. sam ended up grinding the stud holes off lol. the welders at work will do a good job i'm sure and i'll take it from there. would've been ideal to just bolt the new ones on but... lol

Had a VF28 briefly on mine. was an absolute lag monster but pulled like a train when the boost eventually came in (4e though not 5e) I imagine it could make 300bhp depending on the rest of the set up, cams, ecu map, exhaust etc etc

Few bits fitted and a few bits turned up fresh from Japan. Sard 5L swirl pot, sard 265 pump, cruise gear knob, blitz rad cap etc. Started putting some of the interior back together too. The rear axle along with the GT rear axle are both currently at work in the workshop. The welder a are going to chop the stub axles off the turbo one and weld them to the 70 axle. Also I have some uniroyal rain sport 3's in my store at work so hopefully will have those fitted by tyre bay this week fingers crossed. Work perks ftw!

Idle screw? Try adjusting that on the inlet?

the way i see it is if it ain't broke don't fix it. no point messing with it cleaning the carbon out and then end up creating hot spots etc...

My first order turned up yesterday less than a week after ordering it! it was only a cruise gearknob though haha The other order is for a sard swirl tank and a few other little bits so i'm assuming it will take a bit longed with it being bigger. Totally appreciated the japanese jiffy bag! haha

15x8 et17 with 195 45 tyres

If you have coilovers and a panhard rod it should be ok. Without coilovers/panhard rod it will scrub. I have 15x8 et17 on my advance and it's pretty low, but on the D2's and with a cusco pnahrad rod it doesn't scrape. 195 45 tyres are a must though or the tread will poke out. I have livesports wings on the front too

All my civic rads have been off ebay.. never had a problem and as above, just won a triple core with fan and shroud for about £60 posted. They do stay pretty shiny and a quick wipe brings them straight back up anyways

Thanks guys. I knew the wheels wouldn't be for everyone but I didn't want a coloured wheel if you know what I mean. I saw an amazing set of work equips on drift works that were in stock but £1400... Lol. I will keep my eye out for some jap rims but it's not a main priority just now. And yeah they will poke a bit but they're exactly the same fitment as the wheels on my advance but these are 7mm lower offset so with 195 tyres it should be fine... :/ haha. Cheers for that grant, saved me a day of swapping axles and finding out the hard way. I'll swap the stub axles over I think. I have a sard

Yeah i wanted minilites, but they're mostly 13's and the 14's go for loads of money so i treated it to a brand new set of wheels, i'll order tyres next week probably and then once the axle is swapped etc the back end will be fully done and rolling!

I've just ordered some wheels for it actually, they're not JDM... nut maybe in the future i'll keep my eye out for some tasty 14's... as much as i'd love 13's (i love tiny wheels haha) they won't go over the turbo brakes :/ The wheels are being delivered today, so i'll get some pics on here tonight hopefully

Just receieved a text this morning from DHL saying that one of my orders will be delivered on monday! crazy!

Bootlid fitted and shiny bits have started arriving!

Yeah i chose the DHL option for delivery, and they have changed the status of the order to being picked from the warehouse so fingers crossed...

I've already ordered bestmatesocks, not in a rush for the stuff really just wondered what the scale was on delivery times, i know christmas/new year will slow things down a bit :/
