hiya guys and girls have any of you heard of a toyota corsa? here is a link to car domain that i found to a turbo one. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2081027/1990-toyota-corsa
Not had much to do with toulene so can't really comment on the stuff. Again every engine responds different. It could be timing or anything that gives you either a really good responce or a bad responce to messing with fueling. Why not just 50/50 the fuel from scrappy with fresh fuel from the pump?
Yup agreed Adam. I will only be using it in the ep82 once a month at the most. I have mentioned it eats seals in the engine already in a previous post. Oh another thing I forgot to mention too. Too much meth is a bad thing. It will literally clean your bores out. This is not a good thing as when it mixes with your oil it changes the properties of the oil. I.e bye bye bottom end etc.
I don't think a 10% mix would be far off 99Ron at the pumps. also as said above the ecu will correct the fuelling to a certain degree. For instance how does your car know how to change the fuelling in colder climates? What about higher altitudes? Its the same as changing the fuel ron.
Yea the knock sensor should adjust the fuelling in conjunction with the lambda, map and inlet temp sensor. I believe the meth slows the burn rate like high octane fuel. It also prevents det.
How about a GI blank for the scoops on the ep82? I know that you can get a GI bonnet from idrees but I think more people would be interested in a blank that just bolts onto their own bonnet. Bit cheaper than replacing the whole bonnet.
All standard as far as I'm aware. And the engines seemed to run better. Idle was better, it also acts like a cleaner for the engine. Be warned though if its too strong mix it will eat the oil seals in your engine.
I'm guessing your car is lowered? Its fine as long as there is some play on the actual shaft between the two cv's. If not then you may be causing damage to the cv's.
A couple of my friends have used methanol in their tanks. Obviously mixed with the fuel. I.e 35 litres of fuel use 3.5l of meth. Gives u a 10% mix. They have used it in their 200sx's and skylines.
Do you mean a 4efe? The main causes of high idle Is a leak into the inlet manifold. Could be a Pipe off or even the diaphragm split in the brake servo. I suggest you check your throttle is fully closed first. Then move onto plugging each pipe individually that goes to the inlet manifold. But it could be anything on the inlet.
Its really loud. Needs a silenncer box really. Well I've been to scooby parts hull and they gave me a banjo bolt for free. They said to try it but not to forget the oil in the system will need burning off or cleaning out. Fingers crossed
Yea not far off now. Just a few more lil touch ups then it will be ready. I even got my toad alarm fitted and my harnesses. But that will come in the update.
I've been in touch with scooby parts hull who I got the turbo from. They said you need a 1.5-1.8mm hole on a tdo4. The seals should be fine as they are basically a small piston ring. I'm picking one up tonight I think. See if it solves the smoking problem
