  1. Will be attacking it this weekend, painting the calipers whilst im at it!
  2. Just bought it! Thanks guys, i'll be sure to open the cap in the bay and chuck a cloth over it to soak up any excess!
  3. Okay, so for the front would i need anything special to get them back in? Like the tool for B&Q jimmymac linked?
  4. Hmm, the tool you linked says for right hand side? Could i just use this for all four corners?
  5. If it's just that, surely you can put a little bit of wood across, squeeze with your fingers and slot the pad in? Or is it quite hard to move?
  6. There shouldn't really be any flex where you've got the cable ties. That's going straight onto your cooler.. If theres flex, my guess is the clamps and silicone are loose which can result in a loss of boost pressure.. I can't move mine by more than say 1 or 2mm when there tightly on? Try checking the clamps..
  7. So am i right in thinking, small piece of wood against piston, 1st clamp over the wood onto piston and the second clamp on the rear of the caliper to push it back?
  8. That's true. To the OP have a play with the piping and see if you can rotate a few pipes etc.. But it doesn't look too bad in my opinion heres mine... It's a real bad photo, but you can see they hang out low a tad buddy!
  9. Im after the same as above. So if theres 2 available 1 each!
  10. In other news; Just order; 4x OEM Quality Pads - Courtesy of ID-Workz Going to be fitting these probably at the weekend as mine are suffering badly. Never done it before, so it's all new to me! Want to learn as i can save a fortune by learning myself!
  11. I think yours comes out straight though. This one and my one come out aiming down if you look closely. Which means you have to rotate the 90' tubing down slightly! It looks fine mate.. Makes it meaner ;)
  12. socket set - check What do i need for the piston? Is that actually a tool or a typo!?
  13. They all hang out slightly even mine do. I'd be more worried about your flexi on your exhaust looking at that picture...
  14. Ordering some pads all round today. As mine have been on there way out. I've never done a pad change before. Always put it into a garage but im getting to the point where im doing so much on the V and my old Type-R. I feel i should do it myself, learn and save money as most of us do. What tools would i need to make this change. I have the majority of stuff for various jobs. But as i havent done pads i dont know if i will need to buy anything particular etc.
  15. So i haven't had an update for awhile. Having severe boost creep. If i floor it boost will stabilize at around 0.8bar, within miliseconds it will hit cut as it creeps quickly. So im stuck driving like a Nan at the moment. Which is fine, i don't race around anyway. But onto dual carriageways is a nightmare as i can't overtake really.. I'm pretty much stuck behind the car in front it takes an eternity to boost past someone on less than half throttle constantly watching my boost gauge which is dangerous in itself! I want to TD04 in the early part of the new year. So spending money on the CT9
  16. I didn't read he undone the nut to be fair! I wasn't far wrong!! Stop being a pussy! Smash it !!!!!
  17. I could be wrong. But you've done it all ok i think? Give it a bash.. May have corroded onto the bolts and in the centre and need some forcing to break loose! EDIT: How much were the dics/pads i need some..
  18. Push it back in.. Tap it to make sure it works like that.. Then glue the feck outta it.. (what i would do as i dont have a solder too...)
  19. That's shiny as foook! But i cant keep my eyes of that NSX!!!
  20. Did it actually run or is the engine blown? Obviously it's not worth much if that engine is fubbered.. What's involved in putting it back together, have you hacked the loom apart? or it it just needing things plugging back in correctly? As for the engine it looks a mess, is everything there bar the battery, gearbox and intercooler? Or is it also missing various VAC pipes? Thanks
  21. ] Oh mate.. i would be fuming!!!!!
