  1. I do agree with u on the standalone man, there is a good few people running piggybacks an big power with good results, only problem i have with the e manage is very seldom it stumbles for a split second and i think its the stock ecu and emanage haveing a wee conflict, but i can live wit that.
  2. If the emb can run 300+ safe sure why not, am by far no tuner but i can map it myself which i have done on my stock engine and its going strong, it would be a major saving.

  4. I will be looking for 300+ when i forge and will be useing a td05, if emb is up for the job it will be used no doubt.
  5. Good to no this, am going to forge my 4e when it blows, but its holding up very well i would nearly sware it is forged lol, it sees 1 bar td04 daily ths past year, i run e manage blue would it be up for 300+ if emu can why wouldn't it.
  6. Sounds like a piggyback is a no go for a forged engine, has anyone broke 300bhp with a piggyback or is that just a bad job.

  11. It should be advanced as boost rises, for tuneing it should be advanced to the point of peek power then leveled off the rest of the rev range, if there is any det it should be retarded or some more fuel added at that point.

Whatever u do don't be a rat u get no luck for that, from the sound of it that girl is growing the green, strong smell, new car an no job, i couldn't see that u could get the smell of a joint next door, its the plants and only a couple can give off a strong smell, tell her did she see that chopper over her house a while ago an see what she will do.
  13. There is more to tuning than fuelling for sure, but when i changed from the stock set up to a bigger turbo i felt i didnt want to push it any more until i fitted a wideband, i will run the stock ecu some day just to see how it can fuel for myself.
  14. It never felt right to me to boost any more then 0.5 td04 with just the stock ecu, your boosting blind without a wideband i think, an every car will be different fuelling wise also, people do say the stock ecu can fuel to fuel cut but i would never trust that.

  16. Inspect the belt for fine cracks.
  17. i posted one to scotland not so long ago, i just taped it up with strong cardboard around it, cost me around 5 bucks with the post service and all was good.
  18. The noise could be your exhaust hitting somewhere, gearbox could be bad synchros.

  20. 2 plastic plugs the right size should pop up in the scoop and hold that rubber in place.
  21. Well lads am in a spot of bother, engine light is on with a code 31 ( map sensor), its bogging down running rich as hell, just looked at e manage and it looks like am getting no airflow output signal, what do u guys think.
