    Standalone ecu will do all that from trigger wheel, 1 rotation of the crank = 2 on the cam's.

    Square light or quad have different fitment, I have a square light one here

    U probably have scoring on the crank from the look of that bearing there was 0 oil clearance there, I would be unsure about the bore scrapes maybe give the engine to someone that can build it properly before your out more money.

    Great build lad, a mate of mine had one of those rad caps on an mx5 track car and it turned it in to a kettle, my advice would be to get rid of it or check it out yourself to see if does.

    A bad coolant temp sensor can cause the same starting problems but u have an ignition code, did u check the timing with a light.

    If it was boosting 1.2 I would look at what's controlling the boost actuator/boost controller, what's the turbo u running?

    I would far rather keep the OEM closed loop operation, it will take a lot more work to tune closed loop in this implant mode, if it fuelled this way I would buy one otherwise I would go full standalone.

    Can this ecu fuel the same as the e manage adding voltage to injector pulse on top of the stock ecu map?

    U can't go off a post to diagnose your cars problems, the real proof will be in a compression test as said above.

    Good man Colin, am looking one with a 3 bolt exhaust flange so I can bolt up to anything handy, yours must have the ct9 downpipe flange does it.
