-
why does rear bumper scratch when washed?
daniel_g replied to tango123's topic in Detailing and Car Care
I use a half brick and a brillo pad -
Fire it up for 300 and see what offers you get. Wouldnt worry what comments folk make mate, if you dont get much interest then just lower the price till you do
-
First thing id be doing is PM'ing the person that made you the 300 quid offer for it lol.
-
Will need to wait till end of May to get a quote with these guys

Seen Lew777 TOMs New Actions in the for sale section. Very cheap for a nice set of wheels
-
I'll have that ukso elite sticker if you still have it Lew ?
-
Im in the same boat as you man, im 21, looking to get the 85 insured within the next few weeks, was hoping Greenlight would be a safe bet. Will still give em a call though.
-
I read it on another forum, but think it was for RWD cars.
-
I had read something about Greenlight insurance and possibilities of difficulty if over 170bhp. As for experience, what is it they require ? Previous with fast cars or something lol ?
-
Pretty difficult to lower a 4paw at the rear lol, ive got 40mm springs on mine and its still high as fuck. You can get a set of EP91 coilovers, wind them all the way down and see what its like. Other people have modded coilovers to fit, and also modded the strut tower, although im not 100% on whats involved. Other option is the Meister 4paw coilovers.
-
This is pretty standard tbh.
-
Yeah they will fit, use the 4paw top mounts. Although the EP91 struts are physically longer i think, so the ride hight might be even worse.

Yous all must have very wide attention spans lol, GTA got boring ages ago haha. Although it was a good laugh shooting up people back in the PS3 days with yous two

Charlie28's 295.3BHP@1.4Bar Forged Greddy Turbo'd Glanza
daniel_g replied to Charlie28's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
There has been a hell of a lot of dodgey sellers and scammers punting starlet parts recently, just seems youve been a bit un lucky Charlie. Anyway good progress on this, least its not holding you back much, hope this new engine is decent and its up and running soon -
Yeah me too! Has that rear diff found its way in yet ?
-
This is cool! Sounds amazing as well Never used to like them but am running about in the normal 190 one atm. Would like to know aswell
-
Bare in mind good starlets are going back up in price (or certainly fuckin should be) Think the days are away where you could pick up a half decent modded V for 1500. Most starlets under 3k these days will be rough. Just take your time, read up a lot, learn the common faults and what to look for when viewing one. And dont buy the cheapest one going because it will only end in tears lol. Or find a nice shell and start from scratch
-
It looks ballin as fuck
-
So what did you do to deserve getting your wee bike smashed up then ? Nothing ?
-
GLWS man it looks just as mint as when my mate had it.
-
Sounds savage man, looks it aswell

A hybrid TD04 will make the same power at less boost than a standard TD04, so it doesnt put as much strain on the engine. Also you'll get more usable power with a hybrid, more lower down in the revs and less 'lag' making the car better to drive. You dont need to be running forged pushing 1.6bar to run a hybrid TD04. A stock motor at 0.8 - 1bar with a hybrid TD04 would be a decent setup with more usable power, faster spool etc.

Any half decent fuel saving method or gadget etc gets bought by the likes of shell / BP and thats the last you ever hear of it. And all these other systems fitted on cars like DPFs and EGRs etc are just bad news for the engines health, let alone a home made kit you tap into the inlet lol. Ive just changed an engine in a DS3 Racing because of the stupid crank vent system which basically fills your engine with carbon.
