Possibly, the ECU will do the most difference, the inlet on the Gen1 looks like a FTE inlet, the exhaust manifold also differs, i doubt the injectors would make a noticeable difference. The Gen3 also had a knock sensor, 4 wire o2 sensor, a corolla style inlet manifold and a DIS ignition system. The Gen1 is a good bit of kit though, i've got the lot here, gonna eventually strap the lot to a 5E and drop it in a GT shell, make a nice N/a daily What JDM 82 do you have, a Soliel ?

The 3rd Gen JDM 4EFE had green injectors and was only like 75 bhp. It had a lean burn map and was built for economy rather power, i had one in a Carat 91 and it was slow as shit. The 1st Gen JDM 4EFE is the one to have. The oil filter bolts straight on the block on the 4EFE, the 4EFTE had 3 studs on the block and the oil filter was relocated to the left a bit. Which is one way to tell. The heads are the same as far as im aware.

I understand why people spend a lot on their cars but i dont get people who have no life because of it lol. I spend a fair bit on cars and have always had tuned / modified cars but you have to draw the line somewhere. Was speaking to a chap with an Astra VXR recently who lives with his parents, doesnt go on holiday or nights out and i assume he has no friends or girlfriend, cunt just spends every single penny on his car. Fair play to him hes got a 400bhp mint looking VXR which has a map so it pops and bangs lol but seriously is that any way to live your life. Ohh yeah if there is anybody on

Yeah thats exactly what you do. The top port of the EWG is left open to atmosphere if you arent running an EBC, and the bottom port goes directly to the nipple on the compressor housing on the turbo.

Are your driveshaft balancers there and in good condition ?

Are your wheels balanced and tyres in good condition, ie no flat spots or ovals ? Could try swapping the wheels front to back.

If its the same box thats in my 4EFE Corolla then the ratios are quite short, could suit a turbo car quite well. Are you TD04 ?
