I just got a new one off Iddy's site the other day there, came to 6 pound something inc postage which i thought was reasonable.
  3. Just stumbled across this insanely clean two tone MK1 on this site. Probably one of only a handful left in this condition. http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/STARLET/700100180330140404002/index.html Price is a bit, ehhh strong.
  4. That looks awesome now dude nice one !!
  5. Road trip in a GT sounds like a plan, yous off anywhere nice ?
  6. Yeah man stole the pic from your thread when i was browsing through yesterday haha. Think ive sorted a pipe now thanks
  7. This is the one i use. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-CRX-DEL-SOL-VTi-ALLOY-RAD-RADIATOR-/190388767093?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c540e0975 And then you just need the mounting brackets from JD-Tuning on here.
  8. Think its ment to brace to a bracket that the AC pump mounts to, but when the AC is removed the bracket gets chucked aswell. Best off getting a good decat from a trader on here, mines is braced on the gearbox.
  9. Ive had other cars whilst building the starlets so its not all bad but its just not the same as having one out on the road tearin shit up lol.
  10. Get it out and get boosting !! Its no fun at all having starlets off the road. Ive owned starlets now for almost 2 years and in total my road time is 1 week which is pretty shocking haha.
  11. Probably be your best bet, a lot of the Toyota gaskets are just paper anyway like the TB gasket and the oil filter housing one. Just make sure the exhaust mani - head gasket is of good quality because any other than Toyota ones are pish.
  12. Yep defo it would be good to bring the revs down at motorway speeds but would be good to know a theoretical top speed aswell. Whats the box code for a 95 ? Been looking at some stats on a Jap car website and as far as i can make out 95s have a different final drive of - 4.058 Dont know how true it is though am sure there are better ways of finding out haha. http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/catalog/TOYOTA__STARLET/
  13. Haha yeah exactly. So what top end speed does everyone think we could reach in a 4paw with this Yaris D4D 5th gear ? The final drive is 4.312
  14. I was wondering about that gold HRF GT yesterday actually lol, it apparently maxed out at 297 KPH. Was wondering how the fuck they done that !! The code for a 4paw box is a C50F by the way.
  15. Its less half the price of an OEM Toyota gasket set but duno if i'd trust it.
  16. Alright so am after a bit od intercooler pipe, it connects the cold side of the core to some more IC pipeing and goes under the front cross member, has a mad bend in it aswell. It has to be 2.5" / 63mm This bit. Also not looking to spend a fortune, cheap as please Cheers, Dan
  17. Is it still on the original engine do you know ? Thats good going anyway, a lot of these cars are abused.
  18. Just bolt it on and run unlimited boost then hahaha. GLWS bud good price
  19. I phoned him up a while ago when i first got the 85, he said him an Geo did all the research behind it but never actually did anything with the 5th gear. He said he dis strip a 4paw box but only to change syncros. Think it could have been on the swat bus but am not 100% sure. A 5th gear change should be easy on these boxes with the correct puller I want to change the 1st gear but because its right at the front of the box i cant be fucked stripping it all down lol.
  20. You can chuck that, you'll be left with a couple spare nipples on the top of the throttle body though. But yeah just blank them off.
