If you look in the thread called 'starlet graveyard' theres one near the end iirc, Corey posted it. Someone set in on fire -
Awesome decision haha. Although what you should actually do is buy Shaun's 4paw and build a monster !!

Good stuff I finished one of my seats to, ended up retrimming the bottom half of an 85 seat in GT trim and using the GT upper back section aswell, so i dont have pikey up any rails etc, it all bolts down as it should, well chuffed lol

What's it worth - 98 Spec Front Bumper - MINT
daniel_g replied to Zeldoz's topic in Lifestyle General
If it had the 98spec fogs & optional lip it would be worth a lot especially if it was uncut. -
how easy would it be to make a light weight flywheel ?
daniel_g replied to Cheznutter's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
I got a quote of 70 quid from a machine shop to lighten & balance a standard one. You cant just got drilling holes in it really it has to be balanced with the clutch, or ideally with the crank too. -
Chuck up a pic and i'll tell you what GT they came from.

Its a permanent storm where i live lol.

Are they MK1 GT seats, school tie diagonal pattern ? I had that issue when i put them in my old MK3, i just used harnesses instead of seatbelts. Suppose you could source some MK2/3 seat rails with the seatbelt mounting points and then swap them onto those seats. I'm having similar issues just now putting GT seats in my 85.

The guy with the GTR is the only one who cares lol.

Tuning developments do fuel pump kits, theres a group buy on atm The boost control you get with an electronic boost controller is awesome and when its correctly setup you'll notice a big difference over the whole rev range. A wideband is a monitoring gauge system which shows you the air/fuel ratio at any given time, it wont make your car faster but it allows you to set your fueling via the RRFPR (or take it to a dyno and let them do it). The P&P ECUs run a rich map anyway. I like the Zisco manis but race-tech & WEPR are highly rated too WEPR have a sale on atm.

I've heard the P&Ps dont like bigger injectors, and standard ones will fuel it fine so you wont need to get uprated ones. Buy a RRFPR, 255 fuel pump, EBC, FMIC, wideband and an good exhaust manifold, front mounted air filter turn the boost up to a bar and enjoy 200+ bhp with rapid spool. Should also upgrade the cooling, ie thick rad, and a few oil gauges to keep an eye on things

I have just bought an intercooler off here, its used but good. Anyway plans have changed and i dont need it anymore. It is suited to a TD04 setup but with a couple more pipes it'll fit a CT9. Old ad is here, http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/71417-td0405-ect-intercooler-now-sold/

Get a Legacy wagon, its actually the ultimate daily imo, love mine lol. I'm 19 and insurance is no issue. Lots of space, very comfortable, feels modern for an 02, looks ok, goes and handles alright too for a 2 ton bus haha.
