Yeah it is. If its from a 96 spec to a 98 spec its a little more involved.
-
As soon as i can get into the car i'll get it whipped off and let ya know
-
If you do decide to go down the route of swapping in a Glanza loom i have a 96 spec V breaking and should have most of what you need dude.
-
Not actually sure buddy, i'll get it dug out tomorrow and fire a picture in here.

What about nice alloy gauge holders or even a pillar based ones. Gear shifter raise kits. Swirl pots and fuel cells. Bolt on wide arch trims. Under braces to mount splitters to. Brackets to mount BGWs to. Alloy door card trims. Sunroof delete panels (if enough interest). Better stronger clutch forks. Engine to bellhousing adapters to run different gearboxes. I want commission for this by the way ha

Well JD tuning are no longer a trader on here, Zisco have dropped off outta here too. Race Tech manifolds are far too expensive imo. Dean doesnt seem to release any products that ive noticed? Mostly custom fab work nowadays. WEPR dominates atm but the wait for parts has put me off in the past, quality does seem second to none (bar a few screamer issues) TD. Seen a few of their manifolds crack. Believe their inlets are done by Dean as far as im aware. I see a fairly open market for you buddy

Bolt on downpipe / side exits 3" cold side pipes. Trap door baffled sumps
-
There is a market for bolt on n/a manifolds.
-
Let us know how you get on! HC forged is next on the cards for my car. Idworkz, do the 4age headstud kits, not aware of srarlet specific head studs?
-
This does sound like such a great setup for what its used for. There is a theme here of massive overkill on starlets basically, this is quite refreshing to see
-
I hate them. I hate the sportif too. Pulled a decent night shift (4am type shit, outside rolling about the deck) to change the engine in the sportif, now got a weak spark / non start. Can see this being turbo converted very soon. Got most of the parts there.
-
Even the new Meister Zeta CRD+ for 4paws which i have still sit too high at the back even on the lowest setting. They are great coilovers though
-
Yes without a doubt, the 4paw will be getting a good few decent parts that nobody has done to one as far as im aware.. But in the meantime / winter that shitey sportif will do the job. The 4paw has never seen a winter in my ownwrship so far, keeping it off the road is the only way its gonna progress
-
Those rods are probably the best on the market, for a starlet anyway.
-
This has potential, although the usual 'cheap on insurance because its only a 1.3 bruuuv' statement is slightly worrying. https://www.gumtree.com/p/toyota/toyota-starlet-gt-turbo-jdm-import/1183091489

So before i had a chance to swap engines this happened haha. And yet again oil sprayed onto the exhaust manifold heatwrap and a wee fire broke out. Luckily i keep a few bottles of water in the car for such occasions.. caught it early and the only visable damage is the protective coat around the MAP sensor wiring has melted slightly. In the meantime i'll be driving this about. That Glanza shell i have will be getting stripped right down for its wiring loom etc to convert this And back to the 4paw, im thinking build a high comp forged motor up, wind the boost up to 1.4bar on this new TD

Exedy 3 puk all day long
-
You use the same size bolt
-
Why didnt Dan ever use an E153? Still dont see the point of ramming a 3S in a starlet bay, and still keeping it FWD. 80/20 weight distribution
-
Tbh now im not 100% sure if the GT4 rear end was used, be good if it was to get rear disc brakes, IRS and keep the diff ratios matched Might have been a AE86 axle used. Anyway back on topic, a 3sgte in a starlet isnt gonna be very good at anything other than drag racing really. Far to heavy at the front, zero weight at the back. Plus you need to use a ST202 fwd gearbox, which wont hold up for long with a 3sgte putting out decent power. And then youve the problem of mounts, you ideally need a fuckin big solid mount at the front of the box and same again for the rear. Aswell as a meaty engin
-
Theres a lad near me whos put a 3sgte in an EP85, hes also used the running gear from a GT4 aswell. Dont think hes on the forum though, probably about on facebook.

The DHLA still at it?

Never seen them.. but you could measure the space you have and have a scout about for an alloy rad that size. Or get a half size triple core civic rad.
