Hope you get it sorted then If its not leaking the oil, then the engine is burning it. And since its a N/a it is most likely rings or stem seals.
-
Possibly rings ?? Ohh and if youre selling it let me know please
-
Wow, a MK1 Gi, theres probably about 0 of these in the UK. Welcome to UKSO.

Remove stereo and shit from the centre and go in that way ?? I didn't have any of that in mine so thats the way i did it. Or push as much of the cable through the bulkhead as you can to give you a bit more room. The grommet is next to the master cylinder. Or drop the steering wheel down, undo the clock securing screws and pull the clocks out and get your hand round the back. Its all fun & games mate lol.

Is your speedo cable ( the thing that looks like an aerial wire ) right the way in ? It'll be that, the speedo is mechanical through the cable, so its not the plugs you have to worry about.

Does anyone know this car ??

Get on to Browner mate, he'll come across a set i reckon -
Helicoils are fuckin beast, might have accidentally buzzed on a box mount bolt squinty the day... helicoil saved my ass haha.

Yeah i know what you mean man. Give the 86 a shot and see how yous like it. I've seen turbo kits for them online But yeah, sensible tastey daily.
-
Ahh ok, was just wondering who was behind it
-
The turbo veloster is an awesome looking car, but it is nothing compared to the 86. Oh and being a Hyundai i can guarantee the veloster will have a recall list as long as your arm haha, i've replaced 3 panoramic sunroofs on velosters just this week !! Dont get a VXR, the diffs/gearboxes are ment to be made of cheese lol.
-
Is Geo starting it up again Charlie ?
-
I actually work at a Hyundai dealer, the turbo veloster is decent enough, but go for the TRD GT86 mate
-
We had one traded into work, i snuck out in it and ehh, 'road tested' it, was a good drive tbh. There defo is a lack of power there though, but goes sideways easy enough. Was expecting it to sound like a scooby with it being a flat 4 but it doesnt. The TRD ones in white make me cream a bit. Same power as a normal one but.

Cheery, did you buy UKSC from Geo ? I remember you offering to buy it a while back. Infact, didn't you try and hack into the back door of UKSC, using passwords like 'starlet' and 'glanza' LOL.

On my TD04 i had a layer of mesh, then a layer of cut up HKS filter, then another layer of mesh. It worked really well. I also had a HKS mushroom that i swapped on when it was raining, or when i went up the beach

That thread with the irish burd did get a bit rape-y haha. Ave seen a few lassies cutting about in N/a starlets but never popped up on here.
-
Cracking shots, that your white V a bit down the page ?
-
Oh dear lord, have you been living in a cave or something man ? Yes, we have ALL seen it, like multiple times now, this must be about the 10th thread ffs.
-
Up to you really and what youre gonna use the car for, i went for the triple at the time because it was only about 15 quid dearer at the time. From that cunt at cj performance :/
-
With some turbo setups its not possible to run a full size rad due to clearance issues, so if youre looking to go for a bigger turbo upgrade then buying a half size rad now makes sense Also the thickness of the half size rad matters, i ran a triple core to try to keep the temps down, i had no heater matrix so temps would have been slightly higher. Also withe the half size rads youre better off using the proper mounting kit from J.D performance on this site

Dave was saying hes got a place on a stand there but doesnt know if his motor would have been ready.

Still wanting that plug you asked for Grant ? I put a pic in the PM.
