Yeah thanks for the info mate, i swear i read there were two versions but i was looking at that many kits i probably got mixed up. On the j performance site it defosays that it can be used with power steering so i'd be returning that mate.

Well dont think you will have much luck man, as i have been assured 100 % that there is only one j performance kit and it fits both ep82 and ep91.

Some pretty good suggestions, ^ looks mint micky. I'm still unsure, a huge core like the hdi / j performance ( same thing i think ) will obviously provide better cooling and lower intake temps, but might be overkill on a ct9 setup. It will sit nice behind the bumper i'm gonna get though. Toyo sports kits do look alright, nothing like their manifolds and decats. Only thing that puts me off though is that long ass network of pipe, but yeah could get a short hot pipe off dean. Blitz systems are quite far outta my prige range haha. Hadnt thought about a custom system, good shout.

Right so i'm needing a front mount intercooler kit soon and just wondering what choices there are and everyone's opinion on different kits, lag, fitment, aesthetics etc. I'll probably go for the j performance ones that iddy has at discount, but would like to know what other kits are out there. Just letting you know bud, i'm having to change the engine in my GT because of oil related failure caused by some muppet in the past not changing oil. The sticker on the underside of my bonnet says, 10w30 but most folk run 10w40 with no issues.

I'd do a full oil and filter change if you haven't already. You've recently bought the motor ae ? God knows the last time it was changed. Could save your engine in the long run dude.

These kinda threads make for a funny read haha. Answering the original question, ep3s are far too common i think, yes they can make for good cars in the right hands but they are extortionate to seriously mod them, ie turbo, supercharge or high bhp N/A are mega money. And a car isnt worth having if its standard imo. So i reckon you should atleast take a road test in a glanza if thats what you wanna go for. Obviously they are getting quite old now and a lot have been owned by knobs in the past who dont know how to look after a car correctly, which often means that the health of the engine and gearbox etc are not at their best. So you need to be careful when buying one, there is a buyers guide on here somewhere that you should check out to help you spot any bad examples. Best of luck buddy.
