Youre pretty close then man !! I've just been stockpiling parts since the weather has been gash, but am off work this week so i can do a wee bit to it. Still need a few silly bits but main things i need are a gearbox and driveshafts. Also Falkirk is quite good for meets, huge carpark at the wheel and hypertech near there has a dyno.

Damn i need to get up an running first !! Would be good to get a drag day at crail or do a dyno day somewhere. If we all went for a mad drive i dont think we'd have our licences long lol.

Aye thats what a thought, just the lad whos selling it says it increases boost to 0.9 bar. Which is obviously wrong but could it creep up to 0.9 bar in cold weather with an internal wastegate since there is no fuel cut ?

Am i right in thinking that they dont actually raise the boost ? Just remove fuel cut so it can creep up ? Or do these work differently to other p&ps.

Worth checking wheel bearings ane strut top mounts too, i've found they can have similar noises. But a definite 'click' is a cv joint noise.

Looks good lad, personally i love livesports kitted starlets so it would be good to see another. And it really helps if youre a mechanic and if you can do all the work yourself, saves sooo much cash. Only thing you need to pay for is mapping and bodywork !!

A meet would be good when we are all up and running. A dyno day would be pretty cool if folk would be up for that, few decent places to choose from.

I think that there will actually be a difference in the make-up between the non PAS and PAS racks, ie, the teeth close together at each end of the rack to aid parking. If i remove my PAS i won't still be using the PAS rack, i'll source a non PAS rack or look into an electric rack. As i am not totally convinced that the braided loop will keep the PAS rack lubricated enough since the pump has been removed from the system. And running a car without PAS is perfectly safe aslong as its not been pikeyd together.

I removed all the PAS shit recently since my engine is out, apart from the rack. Dont really wanna put it all back in tbh. That braided line looks like it would do the trick.

I was defo a noob in mine haha, drove it like i'd nicked it. TD05 power haha.
