  1. This is true. There are quite often bargains on Driftworks, my gs300 was twice as good as that is200 and only 700 quid.
  2. This would be a nice daily, and cheap too! http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale-private-sales/244513-unmodified-lexus-is200-sport-lsd-nice-interior-cracking-car-400-ono.html
  3. Brute force with a pry bar. Or put the box on a bench and wedge a thick chisel between the cup and the box casing, then hit the chisel downwards to release the cup
  4. Last time i hit the limiter i blew my engine up haha. Flat out in 5th in the 4paw, was the 30th of May last year
  5. You can get all sorts for less than 1k. Best cars ive had for that money have been lexus gs300 and a subaru legacy wagon. They didnt tick all the boxes hence why i got rid but there are always really good cars out there for cheap.
  6. Youre not driving it properly then Starlets are not refined, and not great in the winter either imo. Best to set a budget and go from there
  7. My daily is a starlet GT that i have put a 1.3 4efe into, its an ok daily, apart from the inside of the windscreen freezing up :/ Does 35mpg aswell when not driving like a cunt.
  8. Cheap ebay plasma cutter sounds like a long stay at the burns unit lol. Maybe in the right hands it would be sound haha.
  9. Jammy as fuck! Which dealership is that anyway?
  10. I ran it looped and ended up putting it all back on.
  11. 130 or something in that area ^^^
  12. Because its ment to be a vent to release excess vapour in the fuel tank.
  13. Dash out then remove and split heater box, take out the evaporator and throw it away.
  14. Its the Air con evaporator just to be pedantic lol
  15. Yeah its all fun an games till they total some cunt.
  16. Maybe best asking the owner of the car whats wrong with it? If theres no underlying issue and its just been parked and not moved then you could probably get away with -charge the battery -pump up the tyres -free off the brakes, handbrake cables -prime the turbo -then do the usual checks, compression, check hoses for cracks, oil leaks etc.
  17. Cracking bit of advice. Couldnt agree more
  18. Wonder if the guy whos buying it is from High Wycombe..
  19. They used to be 800 odd lol. There is other options, could cut and raise the rear turrets. Not something i want to do on mine tbh. Or use normal Glanza coilovers and have them modified.
  20. Normal GT / Glanza coilovers do fit front and back but the back will be high. Dont know what the lowest normal coilovers are, but if you wound them right down then maybe it would look ok.
  21. You should be getting battery voltage to the pump, if you are only getting 7.5v then there is a wiring and or earth issue. Theres a few earths in the engine bay, make sure theyre clean and not corroded. Also check the resistance of the wiring to the pump.
  22. Great cars and a good investment too
