  1. You can buy EP95 specific lowering springs, made by Zoom in Japan, they used to be about 350 quid... plus youd need to buy decent shock absorbers to make the most outta the springs, by that time youd be aswell buying the meister 4paw coilovers. Normal lowering springs fit 4paws, i had some on mine and it sits face down ass up.
  2. In that case either get an import company to do it for you start to finish, no hassle, but pay a hefty price! Or do a bit of reading up online and do it yourself
  3. Just dont tow it with no shafts in or then you will fuck the wheel bearings. Pushing it around though you'll be fine.
  4. See how you drive when you play GTA5.. Well thats how i actually drive
  5. Youre putting the rest of us 4paw owners to shame with this build haha, keep it up
  6. Best bet is to get one of your old CT9s sent away for a rebuild / make it a hybrid. Those ebay CT9s are bound to be sketchy at best
  7. My local chinese takeaway sells these
  8. Thats good going! A lot of the lads in the Impreza scene say 1.3 is about as far as they'll go.
  9. A VF28 will make over 300bhp but you are limited to around 1.3bar area then its a bit sketchy, it might implode.
  10. CT9 @ around 1bar with supporting mods and a map should get you around the 200bhp figure. Its been done many times before.
  11. The long pipe that comes off the waterpump is the perfect size to go straight to the thermostat housing and totally bypass the matrix. Changing the matrix is a bit of a pain in the hole, (dash out etc) although its nowhere near as bad as a modern car!
  12. Not that often for a normal car, some BMWs have box oil that never needs changed. For a starlet that gets driven... properly, id do it every time you change the clutch. Or say every year or 2. But there will be starlets going around with the original gear oil and run absolutely fine.
  13. CO relates to fuelling, youre running a bit rich. Give the car a fuckin roasting before its tested, make sure its right up to temp, cars run richer when they are cold. Do you have an adjustable FPR? If turn it down a wee bit just to get you by. Try taking the air filter off if you can, this will allow more air in. Do you have a CAT on the car? O2 sensor ok? Coolant temp sensor ok?
  14. Just speaking in general here, a full strip down and paint any colour you want, doesnt really make sense (from a buyers point of view) unless whoever buys a car is going to be keeping it for a good while. That 2.5k or however much it costs to do the job right is generally lost when you come to resell a car, or atleast a large percentage of it is. Still, there isnt as many silver GTs as there used to be. And hopefully you get it buddy

Plus headwork is time consuming, so theres the labour to factor into the above heads, probably 2hours min if he knows what hes doing. A head skim is around 30 quid, and stem seals are what 30 quid or something? Am fuckin tempted to buy one haha.

X2 Seen people ask near that price for a normal head just whipped straight off a fucked bottom end.
  17. Silver ones are getting rarer all the time, its also hard to get a clean one.
  18. What radiator do you have? Some people have issues fitting them to half size rads. The top pipe can be tight and the bottom can foul on the gearbox.
  19. Christ! ToyTuning, thats going back a few years now. My current GT is still rocking an old sticker of his lol. As for the gearbox question... the E153 MR2 Turbo gearbox is quite strong, getting one to fit into a starlet isnt gonna be straight forward though..
  20. Alloy civic radiator into ebay and you really cant go wrong Dual core one just now for under 40 quid delivered
  21. Yeah defo, ive had a few myself now. Not the best cars in the world by a long way but as a nice little all rounder you cant do much better for the money imo
  22. Good for tight TD04 setups. Free bump. Top seller. Glws Ryan mate
  23. Its a 25+ year old engine design for a small hatchback, Toyota are hardly gonna equip it with direct injection!! We're lucky to have EFI multipoint on it haha never mind direct injection!! Most hatchbacks back then still had fuckin carbs. Not all brand new cars today are even fitted with half that list mate. Yes the 4EFTE has flaws but get a good standalone in there with decent sensors and sky is the limit really.
  24. Ive ran both, a normal dual core civic rad is good enough. Ran the triple on my 1st GT, with the heater matrix removed, in the middle of summer kicking its cunt in and the temp gauge barely went to halfway. That was using a shitey ebay fan aswell. The ebay radiators however are actually very good.
