N/A vs. Turbo gearbox identification

as far as im aware theres and extra lug or bolt hole that's threaded near the gearbox reverse switch if ya look at these two pics you can see it afaik these are glanza gearboxes and without are N/A gearboxes -
you still running the standard efi pipe chris and stock hot pipe I looped my boost solenoid so it runs high boost blocked vacuum from in let and blocked off the elbow on my hot pipe and fitted a a filter relocation pipe out to behind grill at front that's was the handiest way to do it you can kinda see in this pic what I did

ive had 3 turbo glanza's so far know both regs and 1 gt starlet turbo know the reg aswell rest have been reps or glanza s models -
cheers mate the standard one on it at the minute is doing a great job so it gives me time to save up for a turbo mainly im focusing on underneath protection and small handling mods for the minute going to give the bay a quick clean today if rain stays away maybe paint a few bits just to tidy them up

the way this thing pulls boost I surely am I haven't a boost gauge so I dunno what boost im running but by god its quick I may get a boost gauge fitted to see what im running forgot to stick a pic up of the engine bay

Stunning looking car mate colour is so unusual I've see plenty of gt's in all sorts of colours but by far that's the best colour I've seen apart from silver

few more pictures to ad to the thread tbh honest there's not much I can do to the car at the minute its all been serviced up so just keeping it clean and doing silly jobs like undersealing and small tidy jobs in engine bay anyway a few pics I took yesterday after a wash and turtle wax sealent applied excuse the drivers indicator I will be ordering a new lense

well after much much misery of getting rid of my gt rep I decided to get another Toyota I had always wanted a proper glanza v and loved the sudden kick of boost so I bit the bullet and bought this little beauty as of now I haven't done a thing to it but ive a few small things I do want to do nothing exterior wise is changing mostly interior stuff but that will be later on anyways a bit of a spec list of what she has bilstein shocks and apexi lowering springs blitz dumpvalve apexi pencil turbo timer HKS adjustable actuator full blitz nurspec exhaust system Jperformance decat TRD leads oem fro

i tried a 4efe ecu colin out of a 96 starlet as the have same pin setup and still no spark yeah i knew they had a built in coil as my 1.0 12v gt rep is the same but i only have the two wires black/black with orange tracer i did test them wires at the 4pin plug and got my mate to crank the car well flick the key and none of them lit up the testing light (power tester) yeah i didnt have a multi meter to check current through coil so this is the next step wheres this wire there should be 1 wire ign ( i think ) that has power when ignition is on make sure the fuse aint blown in the ca

as above mate of mine bought a little ep80 and we were told distributor was shot so we replaced it with a good one and still no spark has had new plugs leads distributor is self inside looks new what could we be missing just for refernce this is the 2ee engine the 1.3 12v efi engine ive done some digging about theres a plug with 4 wires red/yellow/blue/and white ive checked these for power with ignition on and nothing from any of them now there is also another little plug which has two wires solid black and black with orange tracer the wire with an orange tracer when i use a test light s

mate that bought my ep91 that i did the clock conversion to still cant get fuel gauge to work everything else works except the fuel gauge anyone able to help -
i'd love this for my gt ive an uncut bumper here in 205 black needs small repair on corner passenger side very good other than that only problem is im in ireland

not much of a great update havent got round to doing much at car as have been in spain but gave it a good wash and polish dressed all the interior and hoovered it still need to get round to doing a few small odd jobs fix exhaust knock on axle service it and tax it heres a few pics from yesterdays activity
