Wepr tdo4 stuff is mine and so is the one of launch controll uploaded by trippieit

do some research on things before just sticking parts on your starlet, chances are it will go bang it is a pretty big turbo for a stock engine to handle, your fueling will be out aswell no point rebuilding an engine waiting on one to go bang, just a waste of an engine imo there is no set power output for these turbos so many variations come into play engine, map, injectors, boost, exhaust, inlet, intercooler, controllers, ecu just to name a few mate do some reading and forget asking people to save you reading sick of seeing these sorts of posts on this forum

how to make my glanza chatter???
Chris_GlanzaV98 replied to JasonG's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
If your on ct9 turbo then it doesnt sound to good if your going for chatter then it will chatter but i prefere the flutter if that makes sense the kind you get off a big turbo supra or tye likes, would be interested to see how it sounds on s gt28 or that, as his is my next turbo setup -
mine had 65k when bought fresh import put around 30 on it and forged engine now has 2.5k so shell is around 100k now

Chris_GlanzaV98 replied to BIGGFOOT's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
If you can get a bore scope stick it down into the bored if one of your pistons is alot cleaner than the other most likely you have cracked the gasket and are effectivly boil eashing the pistons, hard bit is getting hold of the scope haha Good luck mate not the hardest job in the world to change one -
Haha inwas thinking the same thing Spent all the money on engine parts

pointers to cut down the lag
Chris_GlanzaV98 replied to bajansuperman's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Azz has put it perfectly, if you plan on getting the most out that turbo you need to forge it otherwise downsize your blower -
Im running one on my setup and love it, been told it will start to restrict power if i chase more power but i am going to stick with it and see how it goes Fitment isnt the best tbh best to get a proper exhaust place to sort it Something to do with a mess up when they were being built but mines sits perfect now Not as bonkersly loud as most think, loud at full chat but pottering about it fine Different story on a honda though

I would put it down to the dizzee check all the pins in there but remember to mark it up before removing it so you can put it back on at the same place
