Fishy is right in the sense of 400 hp round a track in a starlet wont be the best in the sense of drivability but if im going for biiiiig power ill most likely be taking the same sort of route as azz i will be going for some for of gt28, i think its good he is chasing power figures as competition is healthy But people seem to forget the power can be restricted through a little device known as a boost controller ? It wont be running 400hp on a trip to the shops Excellent build azz, Look forward to updates mate !

i think its a 12 mm tbh mate cant remmber exactly but i dont think its as small as a 10 id say 12

as above get a spring as close to your desired boost pressure and then just adjust the mbc ever so slightly

as morgey has mentioned ensure to turn it over by hand a few times to ensure the oil gets round the engine and a good oil pressure has built up, if you can i would drain the fuel thats in there, unless a fuel stabaliser was used the fuel will be pretty crappy mate, drain and fresh fuel in, after having her out a short run once all this has been done i would advice an oil and filter change and check for leeks on a test run, rubber pipes,seals etc may have dried and cracked also depending on where it has been stored condensation may be present in the exhaust so expect some light smoke for the first few miles untill properly warm and should clear

think we could find somewhere with a better quality road surface mate plenty of places in scotland to choose from but its a good shout im sure id be up for it if the numbers were good

gainzy will be talking about the efficiency range of your blower, 1.1 bar on a hybrid is fine and wont make much more power than 1 bar its 6 and half a dozen fpr willbe so you can have a look at the guage as its easier to tell what the fuel pressure is without plugging it in, also helps diagnose any problems with fueling if ever you had one

why dont you get mike to fit the other parts as he has them in stock down at hq ? speaking to mike on the phone yesterday mines has to wait 5 weeks to go back down for some work so you could be waiting a while as they are mega busy. with regards to warm up/cool down just dont take it above 3k rpm untill the engine is up to temp and then wait a few miles after that to ensure box oil is warm aswell, I hope your planning on running a mahooosive turbo in the future a forged engine is wasted on a ct9 imo but i know its all money and hopefully youll get round to it, i may be selling my setup eventually anyway can give you a hand to fit it if you wish to buy it lol anyway keep us upto date and enjoy it when you get it

do some research on things before just sticking parts on your starlet, chances are it will go bang it is a pretty big turbo for a stock engine to handle, your fueling will be out aswell no point rebuilding an engine waiting on one to go bang, just a waste of an engine imo there is no set power output for these turbos so many variations come into play engine,map,injectors,boost,exhaust,inlet,intercooler,controllers, ecu just to name a few mate do some reading and forget asking people to save you reading sick of seeing these sorts of posts on this forum
