works superbly well to be honest.very pleased with it. its just like opening a boot operation wise. doesnt need 2 struts,put it that way !!! easy to do,took an hour as i painted and did everything with care.

as above,they work silently. may have a defective shock

got mine specially fitted up in my uk spec sportif had to cut carpet,no other way,but......looks neat and "meant to be" . do i properly and take ure time and should look standard

absolutely no noise comes from them NOT normal

popped down the scrap yard and grabbed a nissan micra boot gas strut. here it is all fitted up and i have now removed the bonnet support rod. please comment

Its really weird its happened suddenly,havent touched the car rad system or anything else for 2 months and its happened randomly. Anybody else had this on the starlet or any other car .?

heya guys, recently my car has been playing up in respect to the heater cold/hot and also my temp guage goes up and down . this happens randomly,when the cars warm ,one minute the heater will work,then after a while it blows cold even though cars been running for 30 mins. also the temp guage fluctuates between halfway and top of gauge and before its never done this. started happening 3 days ago. i am thinking its the thermostat as this is surely the only thing connecting these two problems ?

ebay ones are bang on fine run one for quite a while years back and was brilliant,lovely big core on them and they are pressure tested to pressures u wont ever get near. have one currently and its brilliant again with no issues there brand new for about £188

i love the serious pictures of the speedos showing speed and revs,great pics as it gives u an idea of just how high revs are at said speed as for the "paint" speedo.just wow,that did make me chuckle and i wana say well done to whoever took the time to "paint" that.soooo good.haha
