its all finished now and water lines are on with flushed water system and new coolant. next up is setup fueling on the new afr gauge. -

lovely build mate thats weird your pistons melted holes happened. lean condition causes that but yet u said ure afrs were in the 11s. did u find out the definite reason why it happened ?

yeah what dan says makes sense. also with cold denser air it may well alter afrs and make car fuel more to go with the effectively "more air". mines been worse also if I am honest. but im still in love ........haha

yeah get rid of pcv valve mate.there awful and bad news for normal starlet users. use a 90 degree elbow and vent to air.
