  1. your block main caps ( inner ) will be around 51 somewhere if i remember right
  2. measure the holes like i said before from block mains and the conrod then the crank journals aaal off them mains and big write them down on paper so i can have a look at them on ere also there is no way them mains are all nr 1 remeasure them From cambelt size crank Big end 1 39.989mm crank journal ( outer )..... / cap hole ( inner ) 42.990 to 43.050 ???? somewhere Big end 2 39.985mm crank journal ( outer )..... / cap hole ( inner ) Big end 3 39.986mm crank journal ( outer )..... / cap hole ( inner ) Big end 4 39.987mm crank journal ( outer )..... / cap hole ( inner )
  3. gen1 5efe and 5efhe rods are impossible to tel apart unles they come out of a unopened engine you will never know both will hold boooost its the same with gen1 4efe and 4efte rods there is no way to tell them apart neither price wise 120euros for a set of 5efhe rods aint bad
  4. yep thats the way to do it i just mentioned it to try on the bearings so you get the hang of it with the clicks at the end and if the measurements are the same every time etc etc set the tumbler to zero open the locking valve then measure the 25mm unit relock her and make sure if the tumbler is still on zero then you should be good to go just read the book of it might be small bit diferent on your 1 ???
  5. hey patman do you till have old bearings lying around ??? its a good base to practise on to get the hang of her and see if you get the same measurements
  6. nope but you can still buy them in toyota or just get an 4efte 1 redrilled and re balanced
  7. it will tel you how to exactly in your book you got with it make sure when calibrating her that the contact points are clear of any oills etc etc and yes you use the 25mm extension to calibrate and lock her till the next calibrate take really good care of the calibrate pin dont ever drop it and dont scratch it
  8. yes it will lower it ours stock compresses to 1mm get a leakdown test done to be safe

  10. to the op thats still to low for my liking when engine was put back together did they do the valveseats and the likes they might not be sealing right ???? also the cogs are they aligned to the right dots ???
  11. 2.2kg for 4efte and 1.2 kg for the later 4efe pully i have 1 on mine for 2.5 years now works perfect

  15. i dont see why all the sellers are getting up there horse just ad the 4% to the price in the ad problem solved then is the buyer send as goods or gift the seller still gets his 4% !!!!! your the seller so make the effort to calculate 4% on it no more problems ha ha

  19. i think its best that the seller sets his price and counts the 4% onto the price and puts that price in the ad saying paypal iclusive problem solved
