SpikeyJp_68
Just wondering what the general concensus is on these.. i.e buying a non brand core and spraying greddy on it or similar
Starlet__SR
Nah. Looks tacky even on genuine cores.

mccartney11
Remember years ago lads all going for blitz intercoolers and cutting their bumpers just so you could see the stencil lol I think a plain clean core is far nicer
Calum122
I wouldn't personally, stealth black for me. But I think it looks cool. Especially rising sun or something.

ashep91
The smaller the core the less efficient? Or does it rely on the design of the core? I personally like the stencil aslong as it goes with the colour theme of the pipes can look pretty cool
Calum122
The smaller the core the less efficient? Or does it rely on the design of the core? I personally like the stencil aslong as it goes with the colour theme of the pipes can look pretty cool Not necessarily about efficiency. It's just that it can inevitably only dissipate so much heat due to it's cross sectional area. It's just a radiator at the end of the day. When you compress the air it gets hot, the bigger the intercooler, the bigger the surface area that the compressed air can move across in an attempt to give up its heat to the fins. The bigger the area of the intercooler, the bigger the area for the air coming across it to pass through. However this isn't necessarily efficiency. You could have a massive intercooler made out of cast iron, this won't be as efficient as a smaller cooler made out of ceramic. So bigger is not always better. Higher quality, better design but smaller will be better than massive flawed designs.
