SiCaln Posted March 31, 2010 Author Share Posted March 31, 2010 nope fraid not matestill no joy have changed the engine coolant sender, the spark plugs, leads, injectors, idle control valve and it still runs like shit and stalls at the slightest thingtbh its worse than before, checked turbo as well as wasnt getting above 0.2 bar and checked all ic piping too hating this car so much, plus its booked in for mapping friday the 9th terrific Quote Link to post Share on other sites

SiCaln Posted April 10, 2010 Author Share Posted April 10, 2010 Forgot to mention AFR is TVR city look at this bad boy lol, was designed to be 1000bhp and fastest street legal car, but owner ended up in jail loland this lovely Escorttoday had mixed fortunes, got some parts from the post office, namely 2 piece Endless discs, Ultra leads and TRD bushes...well bush lolthe discs are lush look, fitted already and grooved from the factoryand the leads...which were for a 4efe, not 4efte so they'll have to go back and only one lower arm bush lol, all to be resolved shortlyso not a great 2 days all in all, but catch can (resprayed (not in pic) and welded) and dump valve fitted to the GReddy cold pipeso not all bad Quote Link to post Share on other sites

SiCaln Posted May 30, 2010 Author Share Posted May 30, 2010 Needed an oil change today so took the opportunity to move the oil filter relocator from the daft place it was before, which meant I had to take my bumper off every time I changed the filter:to here:Much better, so now I can even change the filter with the bumper on, also fitted some Ultra spark plug and king leads but didn't take a pic sorry! SiCaln Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share Posted July 3, 2010 Received from Iddy:Turbo is ready for its new home on here, plus also taken off Sard C-II wastegate throroughly cleaned it and wire-brushed base, this has now been painted too, the base in black, the bell in silver - all that remains now is too have the manifold checked over for welding issues and get some braces welded on, may also heat wrap this beast too, then off to the mappersneeding to find a turbo hot side to downpipe gasket atm too tho, any ideas? SiCaln Posted July 13, 2010 Author Share Posted July 13, 2010 Poly bushes added to the lower-arms and poly bushes put back onto the standard front anti-roll bar, well so far only one lower arm bar bush had to go to work before fitting the second and haven't received the front arb bushes yet lol - but you get the idea that's the plans lolShould be picking up the re-welded and braced SARD mani tomorrow too woo!
