Matt Glanza Posted December 20, 2008 Share Posted December 20, 2008 Thought its about time i remade a new topic.I bought this glanza toreplace my old ep82(RIP).Saw this glanza on a traders site in japan and thought it would be the perfect base for a track car.had a rollcge bride bucket seats and LSD.so i bitt the bullet and imported it my self.Well when it turned up usully u find nice suprise like extra bits but mine was mising the bloody rollcage.wasnt happy but after having a quote for an extra £800 to insure it i wasnt bothered.safe at homezep side skirtsjam spoiler and why did i sell that lip.cant get one anywhereHmm bride seatspretty much standard.The wheels were looking a bit worst for wear so idecided to respay them.nearly burning down the shed(dont ask haha)FittedNext was to sort out the monster truck height and get some more powers out of her.so i ordered these goodiessuspension fitted much better nowNext came the power modsHad these little butes laying around but had to get one fixed as it was slightly buckled.Volk ce28 nrs rays wheelsnext was to fit a new rx7 intercooler,speedvision mani which has leaked since day one and a rare road runner decatReplacing the mani.Wot a biatch it was to removeIMG]http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/13042008311.jpggot there eventuallythe heart of the carthe new mani fitted.which is now off awaiting new one from ziscoAll fittedAnd the pest thing ive fitted to the car as of yet.Hope you like it.ive done alot more since but havnt taken any photos as of yet but will update soon. Matt Glanza Posted December 21, 2008 Author Share Posted December 21, 2008 i did prime them 1st mate butwas done with a sparay can in a freezing shed.Plan is to make it a track carbut use on the weekends to.car is fully stripped out now carpets door cards etc.i want to get over the 200 mark and when new job starts next year the mods are gonna flow.I did seethe photos steve and the one of it in banzi thanks for all your coments. Bildo Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 You should get some aftermarket bumpers to make the spoiler/skirts blend in more.Other than that it looks really nice, think the Volks are a lot nicer than the previous wheels and the ride height looks a LOT better.Keep up the good work mate! Just out of interest... how much did u get the car landed for ? and how hard was it to import yourself.. i looked into it in depth before i bought mine but decided against it. Matt Glanza Posted March 22, 2009 Author Share Posted March 22, 2009 Time for an over due update.had the car off the road over the winter which enabled me to save up or alot of goodies and me and vboi have been busy fitting the stuff over the last few weekend.1st came a new zisco mani.the car all stripped downthe new mani fitted and heat wrappedhttp://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mje...15022009079.jpgAll done.few other bits to go on.Anti lift kit fitted and silcone hose was butchered to get me to the MOT centre.Next up was to clean up my tired old volks so i decided on a refurb.wasnt to sure about the colour at 1st but i like it nowbeforeAfterNext up was the bumper, as i have the arches and spoiler i had to even things out, so when i saw the HRF bumper for sale i snapped it up.not properly fitted at the mo as i need body clips to remove the bumper easily as its not very parctical.Just fitted this week are sparkys old square craft mirrors now fixedThats it for now.waiting on a few other bits to fit.got a whiteline RARB and a blitz intercooler.hope you all like.
