joe-ep91 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 clickJust wondered if we can name and shame this rip off merchant! How he thinks he can get 250bhp with standard intercooler and turbo and other major parts is beyond me. Does anyone know them? Quote
5T4R7ET N/A Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 lol. herd of that on toyota gt turbo.com. stay clear! Quote
Galliano Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 something dodgey about the crease in the front panel..EDIT : dont worry.. thats on all of them :surrender: Quote
Galliano Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 The colour is rage extreme 190 it was resprayed by full circle bodyshop co uk at a cost of £2500 about a year agoThe cast of this work with receipts is £3825.97.It has a blitz nur spec straight throw exhaust with screamer pipe at a cost of £1064.44.Approximately £10,000 ponds spent on it in the last 3 years.2500.003825.971064.440900.00________8290.41ok.. a shade over 8 grand. Petrol prices dont count...hmm.. he still seems dodgey, i mean, for a start, who would want to spray a GT in that colour?250bhp is more than 100bhp more than what you would get from standard equipment. Quote
Matt Glanza Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 that is daves old car isn't it.it was put back to a standard spec when sold.maybe wrong Quote

JAG Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I like the way it says when set up likely to be over 250 lol Silly spending that amount of money on it if its not running 300 or so far as i can seeBut if it goes for a grand then thats not bad :surrender: Quote
jap/dubber Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Bet the overly massive GReddy sticker set him back at least 2K! WASTE! Also, couldve got some decent rims with his 10k? Must have been... :surrender: Quote
Asad Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Whys he`s spelt greedy not G-Reddy, considering he has it written all over the car...... :surrender: He also has an apexi boost gauge not "greedy" the rear suspension seems to be quite new, red infact? Quote

montanajr Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I think he is saying it has the potential for 250hp?? Which is probably due looking at what engine work hes had done. Dunno Quote
RicoW Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 10 hp for each decal on the car :surrender:would be up to more then 250 like that... Quote
ste91 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Oh and whats happened to the accelarator pedal cover??The rubber thing doesn't come straight off the pedal like it does on the brake and clutch pedal. As for the car... lol... Quote
GARAGE EP Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Full de-cat with screamer... Not if those bolts on that heatshield have anything to say about it!!!I smell bollocks abrewing but as said.. A grand and i'd take it!!! Quote
Nanglebadger Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 OZ titans to be precise, i should know, we have a set in out garage, nice wheel IMO.defo bears a resemblence to Daves old car due to the colour thats for sure.Phil. Quote
Philm Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 @ the price, well its all ok.(maybe even good!)yes there is much to be sniffed at, but certainly it does have the makings of a quick motor.it looks a little austrailian or NZ with the colour and wheels...but not the end of the world.i know that a highly respected ep owner once ran ross pistons and oem rods with surprising results for a fair length of time, that was with big boost through a td04 and a tight eye to the rev limit!to be honest, it does just appear to be a once highly modded now demodified gt turbo.sad to see :surrender: but like alot of these cars it has potential which in some yester year that the next owner wont know off it has probably already fulfilled!Phil Quote
Nanglebadger Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 i like the wheels, damn smart they are. but then im biased.Phil. Quote
Fro Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 This was on ebay a while ago, i emailed him a whack of questions about what was gunna make it 250bhp, funnily enough, i didnt hear back!Think Dave B confirmed it wasnt his old one Quote
