Just wondering what is the top speed you guys have got to in your starlets.

Now obviously as we know this kind of stuff was done on private land/at the track.

And when the limiter is removed on starlets, does that mean there is no speed limit on the car atall?

i got around 142/3 on mine before i ran out of private land.

So is there any kind of restriction or is it just maxed out till it goes BOOM!

It'll go as fast as the power the Starlet has to cut through the air, not the most aerodynamic shoeboxes out there :p

But no I think they are geared to something silly like 167-168 would need alot of power and road to achieve that.

149mph recorded on my AVCR. That's 160 or so on the speedo I'd say? I didn't even look at the dials, it felt way too dangerous to. I checked the recorded speed on the AVCR once I had slowed down, wish I had taken a picture of it now! This was in my old 211bhp TD04 GT, god I miss that car. :p
